  1. No my power supply is definitely clean, I have no issues with other larger appliances at all. I used DDU, so I'll try and replicate those conditions after work where I knew the crash was coming (game on monitor, Firefox and YouTube on other). Not using any adapters at all. The 60hz display is direct HDMI to HDMI and the 144hz is DP to DP. I think the worst case scenario is that it is somehow the GPU and GPU driver and I'll have to switch to Nvidia
  2. I just had another freeze where the screens froze but I could here the youtube audio I was watching. If I clicked in the vicinity of the video, it paused (screen still frozen) and if I clicked again, it played (still frozen). I pressed win + shft+ctrl +b as recommended but that lead to complete freeze (no responsiveness now) and I reset the computer. I'm going to run stress tests on all my parts and then use DDU to remove radeon drivers completely and reinstall and if that fails, then I hope a UPS is the solution. Do you have any recommendations?
  3. I have a corsair 650RX 80+ gold which gives 650W. PCPartpicker gave me a usage of 450W so this should definitely cover that. I don't use a UPS or power conditioner at all
  4. CPU test also ran with no issues at all. Hoping it's a driver issue. No way it can be an SSD issue right?
  5. Going by this review, that means I shouldn't add any front fans right? So the best thing to do would be to upgrade the top to a 140mm and remove the filter + upgrade the rear to pwm 120mm for better performance? What if I added a 140mm to the front bottom as an intake so it blows directly on the GPU and then gets pushed out via exhaust?
  6. I just got home and looked at the pre installed fans to figure out their airflow direction and I'm completely lost... I took photos, I think they're both intake? Lighting isnt great but in both images you can see the NZXT logo on the central dial of the fan on the inner side (inside case) I am 80% sure my CPU fan is aligned the right way where it pushes air towards the rear.
  7. I already did memtest initially when I built the CPU because xmp was enabling for some reason and once it did I wanted to make sure it was actually working. I'll do a CPU test today and check for result, what should I look out for in the CPU stress test? Alternatively would running a benchmark test and checking the score also give me an idea of CPU status? I did not know about win shift ctrl B, will try it next time and see how that goes. Thanks!
  8. Hello, Just built my first PC and I am having issues with random freezes that require a reset. The screen either freezes completely and I can't interact with anything. There is no response to Ctrl shift delete. Or once the screen went black while gaming but the game sounds continued. I have: Ryzen 5 3600x RX 5700XT 2x 8GB RAM Auros x570 Pro Wifi (F11 latest bios) 1TB M.2 SSD Windows 10 64 bit I initially thought it was because of SSD overheating as it currently idles at 49C+ (working on adding more fans and improving cooling). But someone commented on my cooling thread saying that overheating is likely not the issue. Any ideas what it could be? I'm suspecting GPU driver issues since I read AMD is still mastering theirs but I can't think of much else. Thanks for the help in advance!
  9. Any ideas as to where to start looking?
  10. Got it thanks so much! Hopefully this reduces the SSD temperatures to make it more comfortable I think I'm going to add both the 140mm fans to the front for now to help as much as possible with cold air intake and then eventually swap out the stock rear and top with better performing fans. Thank you again!
  11. If I understand you correctly, I should add an intake fan to the front right (I ordered 2 new fans, so one will go the front for sure). How would I know if my top fan is intake? Should I convert it to an exhaust fan and add two new front intake fans? I did install the heat spreader (pretty sure I removed the sticker too but I'll double check). I think your explanation makes sense. There's also the matter of the m.2 slot being right next to the GPU, so there's definitely some cross heat generation that's keeping it hot. Ideal temperatures at idle should be 30-45 right? So just to be doubly sure - top and rear should be exhaust and front should have 1-2 intake. I ordered 140mm fans so should I make one of the exhausts 140mm to increase exhaust airflow? Thank you!
  12. Hello, I just built my first PC in an NZXT H510. The specs are: Ryzen 5 3600x RX 5700XT 16 GB Ram 1TB nvme SSD Auros Pro WiFi X570 mobo The case came with two Aer F 120mm (top and rear) and I bought a Noctua NH U12S CPU cooler. I get about low medium 50s on my CPU while gaming and 50-60s on my GPU (highest I think is 63). My concern is that sometimes my computer lags or freezes and needs a reset. I think I have diagnosed this to the SSD overheating as it idles at 49+ according to CDI. I was thinking of adding two Noctua NF A-14 as intakes. I read that the case is designed for negative pressure so should I instead use one intake blowing directly(does this mean air is coming in or going out?) on GPU and ssd and replace one of the outtake fans? Any other suggestions? Should I ditch intake fans completely? I did some initial research and responses are all over the place. I don't trust myself to make the correct decision yet. Advice would be greatly appreciated!
