    Thank you so much! That active adapter is exactly what I need. Sorry again for the newbie questions.

    Because that just makes to much sense! Sorry I didn't think about that in the first place. Any brands I should look out for or does it really matter? I kind of have a distrust of adapters for some reason.

    I just bought a second monitor and when it came in the mail I realized that I had never checked my graphics card inputs. I have an MSI Geforce RTX 2070 and it only has the one HDMI input. I have 2 identical monitors that are 1080p @ 75hz.. Is it even worth trying to find some sort of USBC to dual female HDMI adapter, or should I just return the second monitor?
