  1. To give a bit more information. There is no instructions in the box on how to set up and link to Mystic Light Sync.
  2. Not sure if I am in the right topic board but there is no topic board that I can find for this. I bought the Master cooler MF120l triple pack that comes with the controller for the RGB. It says on the box that it can be controlled by Mystic Light Sync. The issue is that I have set everything up (controller set up properly and connected to RGB slot on MOBO) but when I go into the Mystic light app it only shows my mother board and ram (Vengeance pro RGB). There is a butoon on the controller for motherboard control but all that does is turn off the lights and it still does not show up in the app. I did see a video where the person downloads the Master Plus+ app and changes it so the motherboard has control but that's where I fall into another issue. The program keeps saying incompatible and will not open. Has anyone had this issue or knows how to resolve this?
  3. Okay I think I understand now. I just want to make sure though. As long as I get a GPU I should be okay correct? I was trying to hold off on getting it to save up some money but if I have no choice then I want to make sure I won't need something else after as well
  4. Hmmm, so why would they put an HDMI port on the IO panel if it cannot be used? Or am I misunderstanding?
  5. So I just upgraded my motherboard (b450 carbom pro) and cpu (ryzen 5 2600x). I have connected all the wires and everything is good to go. The computer starts but I have it connected to my tv with HDMI to the integrated graphics. There is a random red light staying on at the side of the motherboard (not part of RGB lighting) and I get no signal to the tv. I am still using the same hard drive and everything so I really do not know what is going on. There is a flash bios button but I have no idea what that will do since I have never done anything like that before. Is there a step that I am missing or one that I do not know about? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Right now there is a deal for GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1660 Ti OC 6G GDDR6 - right now it's $379 on sale with $40 off plus a $20 mail in rebate making it $319 (CAD). Is this a good price or is there a better one for the same price or less?
  7. Yes most people are saying that but I am not sure why. From what I can tell the gaming pro carbon seems like a better board.
  8. So I am working on building a new computer and I am torn between 3 motherboards. My price range is $150-$180CAD. The ones I have chosen are: -MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC Socket AM4 -MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 -ROG STRIX B450 F GAMING What do you think is the better choice? Also if there is one better in that price range I am open to looking into that as well but it definitely needs to be in that price range.
  9. The PSU is about 6 years old but it has never been under stress. I have it powering a CORE I3 with 4GB DDR3 memory and no GPU (using integrated video card). I new it was a bit overkill for the system I have now but it was my first build and it was a really good deal for it at the time. I bought everything with the plans of upgrading at the time but never did and now I was worried it would be no good.
  10. I have recently been wanting to upgrade my computer. I have not done this for many years so all the new components are making me wonder if I can reuse some of my current parts and one is my power supply (Corsair CX430M). These are the main parts I am looking to get: Motherboard - MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC Socket AM4 Dual Channel DDR4, PCIe 3.0, 2xM.2 USB 3.1, HDMI, DP, WIFI, RGB ATX CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 2600X GPU - GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1660 Ti OC 6G GDDR6 Memory - Still deciding but I am not sure if it will matter too much. If it does I am leaning towards Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz Storage - Still debating over using my current WD Caviar Blue 1TB 7200rpm sata hard drive or upgrading to m.2 (any thoughts?) That is the main stuff. I am going to possibly upgrade the fans to have RGB as well. I am not sure if there is something else that is needed to be known so I hope I gave enough info.
