  1. So I have an EVGA 1080 card and it has two 8 pin power connectors. I have been using, and this is a bit hard to explain so I’m going to peace-meal it.2 separate pci-e cables. They both have two 6+2 connectors on the ends.I have each of them plugged into an adapter that takes two 6 pin connectors and turns them into an 8 pin. These 8 pin connectors are plugged into my gpu and it has been working. So my question is for cable management purposes, can I get rid of the adapters and one of the cables, and just use a single cable that has two 6+2 gpu power cables on the end?
