ThunderStormMC's Achievements

  1. So from the reply's I made this build with a different power supply, different GPU, different ram and different hard drive so what do you guys think? http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ThunderStormMC/saved/svtNnQ
  2. This is my list of parts I've picked out for my first PC and I would like to know what you would change on the build or what PC you would make in the budget of $2000 or Less. My mindset for this build is to be used for Gaming, Streaming, Video editing, Content Creation (CAD software and Adobe after effects). I want to play 60 FPS and up on 1080, 1440, and if possible in this price range 4k (I currently only have a 32" 1080p monitor for the PC). PC part picker: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ThunderStormMC/saved/rjdMnQ Things I really want on this build: 1. Geforce GTX 970 of some kind or better 2. Corsair Vengeance K70 RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard Thanks for the Help!
  3. Core i7 4790k, Gtx970 http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ThunderStormMC/saved/rjdMnQ AMD FX-8350, Gtx970 http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ThunderStormMC/saved/88pD4D I'm not sure which one I would choose the main difference is the processor and I don't know a lot about the specifications and if I could even compare them side by side with out bench-marking them in games and other software. I just really want a great PC because I'm going to have it for 3 or more years no upgrades and it needs to be under $2000 and closer to $1800. I'm just worried that I'm going to pick a wrong part and I might bottleneck my PC. Thanks!
  4. thanks for all the help im going to probably get a GTX 980 instead of the 970
  5. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ThunderStormMC/saved/TfnXsY I'm planning on building my first PC this Christmas and i would us it for Max 1080p and 4k gaming with video steaming and video editing and rendering. I think i have a nice build I just would like some use full advice.
  6. I have been planing on building a PC for a while but i need some help lowering the price but keeping the same experience that i would have with this PC i want to build. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ThunderStormMC/saved/V62bt6 I hope to get it closer to $ 1,200 to $ 1,300. I am going to mostly be using this for PC gaming mostly FPS and games close to them i want to be able to run them at 60fps and higher with high to ultra settings. I would also use it for content creation and browsing the internet. Any help would be appreciated.
  7. its going to be made for gaming and light content creation
  8. I'm building my first pc and i was just wondering if this is a good set up http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ThunderStormMC/saved/3XtQzy thanks
  9. Thank you for all the replies on my post and I play more than just Minecraft. I play Titan fall, Borderlands 2, Planetside 2, Far Cry 3, Garry's mod, etc. and I want to get into battlefield just my laptop now wouldn't be the best for it. I also like to post videos on YouTube and live stream to twitch on the weekends for fun if that helps for choosing parts. As you can see I am quite a newb when it comes to choosing pc parts and the price range is more of $1000-$2000 maybe a little bit above it that helps. The colors I was looking at was black and yellow/gold, black and orange, and black and purple if that helps. Thank you again for all the posts it really helps!
  10. Hi, I am very interested in making my first pc but I don't know what parts to get for it. I am looking at a price range from $1000- $2500. It would be used mostly for gaming. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!
