So I saw this reddit post on r/android with 17k upvotes (link) about the storage cleaner on One UI and older samsung software. It talks about the chinese company Qihoo 360 being built into the device care option on Samsung devices. If you look in the corner when you go on the storage cleaner in the device care section, it says 'powered by 360'. This is a company called Qihoo 360, which you can find out more about on this Wikipedia page. (TL;DR they are a dodgy chinese company that has been known to whitelist malicious programs and competing antivirus software to gain a higher market share). The reddit post goes over this in much more detail, and in it the guy proves that this company is actively stealing data from the devices and sending it to their domains where it was likely forwaded to the chinese government. We need to spread this so Samsung fixes their issue, one of the main reasons people buy from them is so that they don't have to use a chinese phone. Please read the reddit post, please. And this is not some copy paste drama, this is serious stuff that needs fixing.
