  1. I got it at launch and it's been collecting dust for months 4k most likely now I confirmed my old monitor is working fine
  2. I don't really have a hard budget but am just trying to put together something decent for cheap as possible ( because it's going to be just some office rig I use every now and then)
  3. Is the 3600 not upto par anymore for general computing or do you mean bottlenecking in terms of gaming because I doubt I'd hit a bottleneck if I stick to the 4k monitor especially (probably would on the 1080p though)
  4. Hi, so as the title states I have an old 2080 ti laying around and am looking to build a pc at the office for myself, my plan is to do some gaming on it sometimes but generally work on it and I will probably have it connected to a 1080p screen or maybe some old shitty 4k 60hz monitor I have. So far with what I came up with is this CPU/ram/mobo combo (ryzen 3600+ 16gb ram (3200 MHZ)+ asus prime b450k)- https://amzn.eu/d/56mo9eL Power supply- Corsair cv650 (£68.98) on Amazon Storage - https://amzn.eu/d/aUooter Still deciding on what matx case to use but that isn't a huge issue, here are the main questions I have regarding this build. Regarding the motherboard and cpu combo , I heard entry level b450 boards have no VRM cooling so I'm worried about over heating (I have no intention really to overclock) Regarding the power supply can I get away with a 550w , I am currently sticking to a 650w because the 2080ti is pretty power hungry (I have the evga FTW3 ultra version).
  5. Oh this should be the correct link https://www.amazon.ca/AMD-5600-Wraith-Stealth-Cooler/dp/B09VCHR1VH/ref=sr_1_1?crid=N9WC8EA3EI7F&keywords=ryzen+5600&qid=1671678599&sprefix=ryzen+5600%2Caps%2C135&sr=8-1 , would the amd wraith stealth cooler be compatible too?
  6. Hi my friend currently has a ryzen 1600 cpu and is using this motherboard https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07F85YW8R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 , will this support the ryzen 5 5600 https://www.amazon.ca/AMD-Ryzen-3600-12-thread-processor/dp/B07STGGQ18/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3JMVUHSZJ8GDJ&keywords=ryzen+3600&qid=1671678500&sprefix=ryzen+3600%2Caps%2C137&sr=8-1
  7. Hi, I am looking for a keyboard that I can lay down and use on my lap, preferably with a trackpad on it as well and having mechanical brown switches. Anyone know what I should look for? Thanks :D.
  8. Is getting 3000 MHz ram with a ryzen processor worth because I heard it increases performance for them quite a bit or would 2400 MHz be fine?
  9. I looked into it a bit myself and a ryzen 2700 looks pretty good for Tensorflow too, especially since in my case it will mainly be GPU based. (CPU will only need to run some calcs in small cases)
  10. Hi, I recently upgraded my gaming rig and still have one GTX 1080 leftover. I want to use this GTX 1080 to power a second PC. This PC will be running tensorflow typically (as a dedicated machine-leaner for my university project) and sometimes I will have guests over gaming on it, what is a good cheap PC to put around it, that it won't bottleneck the graphics card. I don't mind going into the used market (also I am from the UK)
