One thing I have learned over the years is to not recommended hardware that I have not used. 

I have a THermalright 360. It is awesome, and it is quiet. I would put it up against any other AIO. Guys were not matching my temps, even remotely.

All that means is that you are near or meeting the limits for PPT and TDC.
 
PPT is a hard power limit in Watts. TDC is a current limit in Amps. If you are seeing red or yellow, it means that the CPU wants to draw more power or push more current, but the limits prevent it.
 
Basically, it means that your PBO power limits are limiting the power draw, which is kinda the point.

Yessir they do, but no many. I have only seen a handful of screenshots of them throughout the years. I had an E8600ES that I won my class in Forum Warz with, but it was stolen from me.

I started testing with cinebench r23 and it is pushing it beyond 80. PBO offsets are increasing score. But I guess in like a real world setting, if I'm gaming with 4K the CPU has not reached 100% utilization or these temps. Still fun though thanks

PBO will boost until it hits TDC, EDC, PPT or thermal limits. Usually first three are set high enough that you are almost always thermally limited.
 
Memory training happens on every platform. Intel or AMD. It fills up the required timings that are not defined in XMP or default profiles.
 
Ryzen is not optimized for gaming. X3D models work better because they have more cache.
 
Zen3 tends to have 3600mhz as the acceptable level for DRAM frequency.

The first parts of my mom’s new PC got here. Almost tempted to just use the stock cooler for now until I do eventually upgrade her to a K sku CPU (talking a couple years down the line). It’s a 12400F, like the only intel CPU that isn’t a nuclear reactor afaik. 
 
But also, been a hot minute since I built with an ATX board, forgot how big they are.  My last few builds have all been Micro ATX or ITX

It finally showed up, holy shit. UPS lost this 3 times and mangled it in the process.

1989 muddy fox pathfinder, a cool bike from the UK, in overall fantastic shape considering its 35 years old
this is what I originally ordered, I presumed it was lost so I got my 80’s bike fix with that Marin Eldridge grade, and then this shows up 
so now I get to have two sick ass 80’s bikes to ride around 
 
anyway, UPS as I mentioned, mangled this, bent the derailleur pretty bad 

this is why derailleur hangers exist on modern bikes, if you smash your derailleur into something you just destroy a little replaceable piece of metal, on old bikes, it bends the whole ass frame 
I got it unbent good enough with a big wrench and fire

 
tore the entire thing down, going to completely rebuild and refurb it 

do these exist in the wild though?
 
i have an e7700 pretty mid sample (4ghz ~1.3v) and theres some guy selling e7800s bundled with an hp board but i have never seen an e8700 though there is a xeon version of it (x5270) just horrifically overpriced though i might buy an x5260 if i can get a good bin since it is just an e8600 but xeon with hopefully better bin cause i dont think many of these were overclocked and less pricey, i did have an e8600 at one point but it was only as good as my e8400 (4.32ghz 1.34v)
 
as much as im focusing on 1366 ddr3 oc shenanigans (3400 so far on a w3503) i do wanna bin some 775 cpus see if i can get anything better than my e8400 as my previous attempts (buying an e3110, buying a lot of cpus with 5 e8500, buying a bunch of e5000 pentiums) have failed miserably but now i have abit of cash and someone has a bunch of pentium e6700s i can buy for cheap so im considering picking those up as the 2 e6700 i have can hit the 4ghz mark at around 1.3v so maybe with abit better binning i can get something to beat my e8400

Newegg Canada was blowing out those FSP for less than or about half price iirc. I almost bought one, but they did not restock. So out of that list that leaves the BQ and Corsair.. I would go with the BQ. 

I would suggest waiting until the 9000 series comes out probably before July, according to rumors.  Maybe a 9600X will be amazing, or price drops in 7600X.  At least that is what I keep telling myself about my 5600X.

I only upgraded from TL-C12C-S to a mix of TL-B12, TL-C12-Pro, and TL-K12 . from 3 fans to 5 fans in total. So we are likely looking at the same tyoe of performance. Ecxept mine is better 😄

Yeah the platform is dying and AMD is doing everything they can to keep it alive, the info is out there. My low voltage 4.7 all core might not have been all that stable, but I can guarantee you it was legit reliable on the chip itself. Has been a while anyway. I don't like pumping a lot of voltage to the vcore...

And yeah, you make it sound like you know everything while running a shroddy 4x8 RAM setup (I suspect your cowboy self doesn't realize AM4 boards are typically traced to run the best with the RAM on the 2nd and the 4th), and then achieving high OCs using heavy voltage (let it be PBO OC), then swinging around your skills as if you really know all the stuff.

Your low voltage 4.7GHz oc is not stable. You run like that because you couldn’t figure out how PBO works.
 
I am not touching the voltage, as I said earlier it would be getting that at stock. Just goes to show you really know what you are talking about.

I have my computer sitting on an end table, so its maybe 36 inches off the floor. My cat loves to lay on my Torrent, and I dont really mind that much as long as I have a screw holding the top panel on 🙂
