There's a few ways to approach this, but it depends how much you would want to spend.
It'll be a little bit more costly if you don't want to be able to hear the amp as a bystander etc.
She could use a handheld recorder such as the Tascam DR-44WL. This would involve plugging the output of the amp into a device that records it onto a Micro SD Card.
Alternatively, something such as a Focusrite iTrack Pocket Audio and Video Recorder would record the amplifier with the benefit of docking to her smartphone (provided one is available.)
If she has a computer with a jack input, you could connect the amp directly to that and record it using a program like Audacity.
Let me know if these where the types of things you had in mind, or if you need something explained a bit better!
