never had that issue. I only had bad thermals which are now resolved by removing the vent covers.

Any idea on how to clean the fans? as they are covered with some plastic material

remove the back panel of your laptop and you will see there are two vent on the back panel which are blocked by the metal paper. You can use knife or blade to cut the openings.

So, after researching a bit I ended up removing the metal paper thing which is blocking the fan intake and it has greatly improved the thermals. Now it runs games 10°C cooler and is giving much better performance as well. Now I'm wondering if this is going to cause any problem in the long run like if there will be excessive dust accumulation in the fan ruining the thermals again. correct me if I'm wrong.
