  1. I ordered all my parts yesterday, everything but the case is arriving tomorrow (the case is expected to be here in the 21st) I tried to call newegg to see if they could cancel the deliver but they told me that "there's nothing they could do once the label is made" I really don't want to wait to use my computer for a week, is there anything I could do? Like, have the mobo box as a stand for all the parts? Or is that really unsafe?
  2. well, its a really good cpu and I doubt it will lower the performance, and I also don't think I will make use of a ryzen 7 8 cores, if I ever want to upgrade to a ryzen 7 I will probably do, but I dont think I should pick it at the moment

  4. I've heard that Freesync also works with nvidia, is that true? since Im going with an 2070 super I dont want to buy something I can't use
  5. Hello, I wanted to ask for a couple recommendations for my pc case and some 144hz 1080p monitors my budget for the case is around the $80 USD, but I can't really decided which one I want, I saw the Corsair Spec Delta RGB as a good option because it includes 4 fans, but saw complains that its really hot and that cable management is awfull, I considered the Meshify C but its almost $100 because of shipping, another one I saw was the Phanteks P400A and it looks good also, the phanteks only includes 2 fans (Im talking about the non rgb version) should I consider another couple of fans or is 2 good enough for cases in general? and about the monitors, Im looking something in the neighborhood of $200-250 USD, I dont know much about monitors, should I look for something with g-sync or freesync or is there not a lot of difference with a normal 144hz monitor? thanks!
  6. G.Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory ($139.99 @ Newegg) and G.Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory ($214.99 @ Amazon) at first, it used to be a $10 difference but not anymore, and I cant find any cl16 2x16gb 3600 configuration below $150, the cheapest that I can find cl16 is G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory ($184.99 @ Newegg) , I also found a corsair one cl18 for $156, but it wasnt on the QVL 144hz 1080p max settings(at least try to) gaming, and some video editing
  7. Hello, so I got some questions, I was wondering if I can try to get ram thats is not listed in the QVL for my motherboard, or should I play it safe? asking because I cant find sticks gskill ripjaw cl16, which those are in the QVL, but I found the cl19 but they aren't in the QVL that leads to my next question, in case I can get any ram, should I aim for cl16? or is the performance increase low that its not worth the extra 50 ish USD? and a question outside of this, what is your guys opinion in the EVGA Supernova GA 750w compared to the RM 750 from corsair? saw a deal on amazon and its $10 usd cheaper than the corsair one PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($194.98 @ Walmart) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition 42 CFM CPU Cooler ($36.99 @ Amazon) Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard ($188.99 @ Amazon) Memory: G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory ($184.99 @ Newegg) Storage: HP EX920 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($117.95 @ Amazon) Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB GAMING OC 3X Video Card ($499.99 @ Newegg) Case: Corsair SPEC-DELTA RGB ATX Mid Tower Case ($79.99 @ Best Buy) Power Supply: Corsair RM (2019) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($109.99 @ Best Buy) Total: $1413.87 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-01-08 05:01 EST-0500 P.S: I already bought the cpu cooler, motherboard, and the m.2 ssd, so if you guys edit the build for better recommendations, those are the ones I cant replace
  8. I got a question on this, is it worth considering a x570 chipset rather than a b450? was looking at some discussion and b450 is good but they said that x570 has more room for upgrades in case I ever want to go beyond ryzen 5 and does b450 support 16gb sticks of 3600MHz?
  9. So, I'm currently planning on starting to buy parts in the next couple days, and I've got a decent idea on what parts I want I want some inputs on this build, because its better to make a decision with different points of view PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Zhmqb8 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($194.99 @ Walmart) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition 42 CFM CPU Cooler ($31.99 @ Newegg) Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard ($114.99 @ B&H) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($149.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Intel 660p Series 1.02 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($114.99 @ Newegg) Video Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB BLACK GAMING Video Card ($474.98 @ Newegg) Case: Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case ($84.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: Corsair RM (2019) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($109.99 @ Best Buy) Total: $1276.91 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-01-04 1. Budget & Location My budget is around the $1200 - $1300 USD 2. Aim Currently, is for some editing, multitasking and gaming 3. Monitors Currently, I have 2 monitors (one 27" 1080p and a 21" 720p as a secondary), but I'm planning on adding a third 144hz 1080p monitor in the future (and of course, making it my main) 4. Peripherals I won't be needing new peripherals, but I will be needing windows 5. Why are you upgrading? upgrading from a pre-build because there's barely room for any upgrades without having to build everything from scratch and I want a computer that's gonna last for a good amount of time and with room for any upgrade. I also want to do some gaming without my computer choking with 100% CPU usage and RAM usage P.S.: anyone know some decent 144hz monitors around the $200-$250 USD range?
