  1. Whatho, all! Does anybody else have the same issue as I do? After the latest Windoze update to my Ryzen system, I cannot span the game Warthunder across my 3 monitors. It used to be a simple fix in the game's config file, but now that does not work. I don't think the game is a fault, since Windows has updated, but the game hasn't (as far as I can tell) If you have come across this issue, did you manage to fix it? Grateful for any help, Blodyx.
  2. SOLVED! I updated to the latest BIOS. Everything works now, and all the RAM is recognized.
  3. I tried that too, but there was no improvement. I thank you all for the advice. Eirik
  4. " ryzen is more stable with fewer sticks. and that motherboard is pretty shit. ny friend had the same problem with those ram sticks. he had to get 2x 16 kit in order his pc to work." I may have to do this ...
  5. Nope, sorry to say, that did not work ... I will check if a BIOS update will sort this out.
  6. Hello all, I have a weird RAM problem I have an ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING motherboard, BIOS 2801, with a Ryzen 5 2600X processor, and 16GB of Kingston HyperX Fury RAM (2x8GB, HX424C15FB2/8) (2400) No overclocking whatsoever. Being bored from lockdown, I decided to add a further 2 sticks of the same RAM to get a total of 32GB. When I added the new RAM, the PC would not boot! I checked each stick individually with Memtest86 – zero faults I repeated the test with a stick, moving it between the slots for each test – zero faults I reinstalled all the sticks, thinking that I hadn't installed the sticks properly in the first instance. Same again, the PC wouldn't boot. What on earth can be the problem?
  7. Yes, I have set BIOS to boot from the SSD: (I thought I said that above) Eirik
  8. What-ho, chaps (and chapettes) I had a computer running quite well in a rather dull case, so I decided to install it in a NZXT H500i case. Lo and behold, when I tried to start it, nothing happened - well I got a flashing cursor, reminiscent of the cursor of the good old days with DOS 2.0 etc. I didn't get the classic "C:" though. I found that the BIOS had changed a few of the settings, and it didn't recognize the SSD I used as a start-up disk. Also, it had changed the boot order. So I sorted that out, made sure AHCI is enabled, changed the boot order, but still, the same same result. What could possibly be going on? My hardware: Motherboad: GIGABYTE B450M DS3H Processor: Ryzen 5 2600X Memory: 2 sticks of 8GB Kingston HyperX Fury Black for a total of 16GB Boot disk: SSD Samsung PM981, 512 GB, NVMe Storage: 3 harddisks @ 1GB each I am grateful if you can advise me how to fire up the old apparatus. Eirik
  9. Oh, I see. Thanks for your help, I have some cleaning up to do before I can doi this then. Regards, Eirik Blodyx
  10. Hmmm .... The apps have the options of either cloning the drive, OR migtating the OS. I assumed that these actions are different from each other, but you are suggesting that they are basically the same thing ...
  11. What-ho all. I got a new Western Digital SA 530 SSD to be used as a boot drive for my old computer. BUT, for some reason, MiniTool Partition Wizard AND EaseUS Partition Master 13.8 both tell me that I do not have enough space to migrate my OS from a 2TB harddisk to the SSD. (Unfortunately, they don't tell me how much space is required, which I must say would be helpful) SO, what is going on here? Are the apps attempting to migrate the ENTIRE Windows folder? Should I delete some files/folders in the existing Windows folder - if yes, which ones? Greetings to all.
