You must be a very nice person even to think about it that way.
I find sometimes I have a similar problem getting rid of old hardware.
Where I live they want to charge a person to get rid of everything.
I really hate that because I feel like I already paid way more then the stuff was worth to buy it in the first place.
It ought to be free and easy to just drop off old electronics, pc parts, whatever.
 
Like what the heck do I do with a 4750 graphics card that quit working a long time ago lol and the three other dud cards in the box with it.
Not to mention old computers, TV's and other junk.
It really makes me mad every time I end up paying to throw away that kind of stuff.
 
I often imagine a scene in my head where one of those big players in this industry is talking about all the charitable stuff their company is doing around the world. Just then a 13 year old kid comes in and hits him in the head with an old keyboard. Saying in a loud cracking teenage voice "Hey, why don't you clean up your own backyard mess first."  😆
 
That makes me feel a little better. 😁

The milk tastes different from one brand to another to me which is not too surprising. 
What is weird though is that here where I live there is a big difference in the taste to me in the milk that comes from other states compared to milk from my home state of PA. Milk from PA tastes (richer) better and cleaner somehow to me.
 
Just a couple of examples:
 
I bought milk a couple of times that came from Texas and it was sour like it had goat piss in it.
So I bought it again a couple of months later to be sure. Just because I thought it was just a bad batch or something.
It was still horrible. 
 
Milk from Maryland tastes watered down to me. In one particular brand from there it tastes so watered down that it is like white colored water to me.
 
Milk to me is like wine to other people. It really matters what brand and where it comes from.

When I was watching this I was thinking that Linus's crew could probably make one better then this case.
With all that equipment they have and the fact of it being just a simple small form factor box.
That could be an interesting video.
Them cutting all the various pieces out and making it look nice.

My dream car hasn't been invented yet.
I want an electric car that is totally AI controlled. I just ride in back seat.
It would only come when I schedule it to on my phone. The rest of the time it would be driving other people to other places.
Also I would only have to pay a couple of hundred bucks every month to use it.
I wouldn't have to pay for anything just the use rent every month. The company that owns it would pay for everything else to maintain it.
I would love a set up like that mainly because I find day to day driving tedious and the cars super overpriced for what I need.
I just need a get it done car that makes my life easier.

I've got to try to set my iPad to make noise or something when security updates come.
I hate it when I have any problems with my iPad now because it has become my main entertainment portal lately.

Just the cheapest plastic in the most boring outside and at the same time collecting every bit of data of every kind about us and everything we do with them.
Then I think we should get them for cheap or free.
If not and of course not then I want some freaking hardware for the money!
I'm not a tiny child whose hand will hurt if I carry a 10 or 12lb object.
 
Just my opinion. I know everyone doesn't feel the same way but you asked what tech really annoys me lol.
This is at the top of my annoying tech list lately.

We all have our own preferences.
 
You like fruits on your pizza, I like extra meat(bacon, pepperoni, sausages) and veggies(red onion, red/green bell peppers and mushrooms) on mine. If there's space to put pineapples on it, that space could be used to put more meat instead.

I think when it comes to just tech products it is the same for me as for many other people.
It is the fun factor that will make me spend more on that stuff then I really should wisely spend when I can spend.
I think that is what made the whole pc, smart phone or tech industry from the beginning.
 
That is why for the most part except for smart phones. I think many big companies keep putting out products that flounder in sales and popularity with the general buying public. Mostly I would guess because they are super focused on the cost to profit thing.
It seems to me that the big money is in giving us products that have that fun factor and for me that means something hardware I can play with that gives me something to do.
 
I also feel like an all only cloud based, streaming tech product future fits that cost to profit goal for companies but for me unfortunately it is going to be for a large part death to the fun factor.
 
For me fun is hardware to play with plus being able to control the hardware and software products ever more.
Also being able to actually make something physical with the products if possible.
For example burning music disks today is pointless.
Back then though it was fun and I need simple physical things like that in tech products to maximize the fun factor.
 
(Two billion dollars is what feel I would need to be care free happy for life. I'd prefer it all in hundreds lol.)

CenturyLink DSL is all you can get where I live too except for old school satellite internet which around here is very expensive and I've heard has a bad rep for unhappy customers.
I can only get 1.5Mbps down and .5 up.
For all practical purposes they are like the only game in town for people who live outside of the small towns in the area and they know it.
The only game in town equals 😩 no matter who owns that service.

I buy my 1.5Mbps down and .5Mbps up from a third part provider who gets it from CenturyLink. That is as fast as I can get.
My provider last month told me on the phone that here locally CenturyLink was requiring them to require me to buy their CenturyLink modem/router for $100.00 plus pay another $100.00 to have it installed. My third party service provider told me that if I didn't comply that my internet service would be shut off possibly by the end of this month.
 
I installed my own router before in the past so you can imagine I'm not happy.
Plus they don't give any self purchase router band names that I recognize and favor like Netgear or others as alternative choices.
Just one brand I never heard of before.
My service provider said this was required because of some phone company service upgrades but it just seems like a slap in the face to me.
This is a "only game in town situation" for me where I live.
 
So even though I understand how your sketchy on it. I am still wishing I could get it "totally free" like you because after looking it over on their website.
Myself If I had seen it in a store I wouldn't even buy it for cheap lol.
Let alone pay a guy an extra $100.00 to run a isolated phone jack that I could do myself for donut money.🥴

This times a thousand! When there is only one ISP for an area, they pretty much do whatever they want and you deal with it. End of story. It's literally a local monopoly. 

Live in rural America, and you will be paying out the ass for the shittiest connection imaginable. Live in a city, you will have cheaper internet with 1,000 times the speed. Welcome to America's internet. Lol.

When my brother was young he used to like to use the microwave oven to make projects in.
He'd put them into the microwave oven and cook them to make them dry, harden or melt.
He would have stuff he had made with different kinds of glues, paints. Sometimes he would try to melt plastic to try and mold it for his projects.
 
It used to really annoy me a lot back then because of the toxic smell that would be left in the microwave oven from his projects.
To him it was not just a cooking appliance but a home crafting tool lol.
I laugh about it now but that was probably why we had to keep replacing it so often back then.
Even after my mother had forbidden him to do it anymore. He would still sneak out in the kitchen late at night and do it.
One time I came down in the morning and found the whole inside of it covered with some kind of burnt chemical he tried to use.
He was really 😛 obsessed  with it for a while but eventually he stopped doing it.

I like the more science fiction space ship look in things.
I'm more interested in that then the 8K polling stuff by far.
I wish they would put more of that look into the laptops too these days instead of just focusing on slim and light to the exclusion of every thing else.
I also liked that yellow cyberpunk mouse I saw on one of the LTT videos.
I wish all the companies would focus on cool looks more.

CPU is always intel.
GPU is always Nvidia though I have had a couple red team cards in the past just to try them. Nvidia has always just looked more crisp to my eye personally and that matters a lot to me.
For sound Sony though I refuse to pay these high prices for ear buds and headphones that are happening these days.
I've always had HP computers but after all this crazy is over I would like to build a couple of machines. When I do finally get there my choice for Motherboard would be Asus or Gigabyte.
For storage I like WD and Samsung.
For TV's I've always leaned hard to Samsung.
 
This is embarrassing but my phone has been a flip phone forever lol. I've never owned a smart phone. I just don't talk or text that much and with the data caps they advertise on smart phones. I just don't want to pay $40 or more a month for a phone that I won't hardly use except occasionally for the map app. I'm just all about the entertainment. If I could watch movies and shows on it all the time without paying extra or having a slow down. Then I would make jump but for me personally the way things are done right now it just doesn't make sense.
 
Plus on top of all that I live in a rural place and my home is a cell dead zone black hole. 🥴
