  1. Hi, for the past year my internet connection has been acting up every day. I understand that due to the pandemic situation ISP are at full load and probably internet would not be as good as it used to be. Even so i have been trying to access my modem for a few months but my ISP would not tell me the user and password of my modem. They said they could not for security reasons. Last time i entered the modem was like 5 years ago and i could not remember it. After dozens of tries trying to remember i opened an old laptop i had and fortunately i had the credentials saved up in a notepad. When i managed to login into the modem i noticed only 2 of the menus were available System and Setup but Signal, Status, Log and Provisioning were not. I wanted to know if someone was connected not legally to my connection. The only thing that resemble a log was in Setup menu under the option Firewall - Event Logging and i encounter this list. It has 2 more columns Target and Source. Are these harmful if i post them here? Also found in Wireless - Access Control another table showing 4 connections. All with their respective Client ID. 1- Samsung a10s (Its mine) 2- DESKTOP-####### I believe this should be my computer. Managed by cmd identify the Cliend ID. 3- android-########## (My mothers cellphone i presume) 4- And a fourth connection which Host Name is blank, IP address is very similar to the ones above (1 number different at the end). The ISP also game a TV decoder and it can connect to wifi. Should not i have the connection listed too? So the main questions would be: 1- It is ok to expect 1/4 - 1/3 of my connection and be happy when it reaches 3/4 due to the current events? 2- What is it with "Teardrop or derivative" and "Illegal TCP header"? Is this ok? Are these like blocked entries? 3- Is there a way to activate the Log Menu so i can monitor if someone is connection to my internet? I have 10 mb. I should download at 1.2 mb aproximately but the max speed it reaches is 700 kb/s hopefully because most of the time is at 100-300 kb/s. When calling the ISP they always tell me that for them is at max, and its always good. Only when Internet is down i cant talk to anybody because it automatically tells me that there are some problemas in my neighborhood and it should be fixed promptly or on the course of a few hours. Then the call is ended abruptly. Basically im on my own. Oh by the way i am currently living in Argentina.
  2. Okay, used handbrake 2 times and its fabulous. Its takes time but it works just fine. Managed to reduce the 2 GB files to 500 MB. Done 2. 6 more to go. Thank You. Couldnt figure out the bitrate thing but its quite good compression.
  3. I dont think im going to be able to use handbrake due to compatibility issues. Tried running the first download zip file HandBrakeCLI-1.3.2-win-x86_64.SafeMode.zip and i got the blue popup notification Then tried with the 3rd download option HandBrake-1.3.2-x86_64-Win_GUI.exe but its seems i cant use it cause its made for 64bit systems. Idk thought i would be able to use it cause it says x86. Do you know if there is any other download option i could use or any other program? ------------- Edit. Okay reading in the forums i got to a topic where devs say that 32bit support was shut down a few years ago. but someone recommended older versions like i686. Downloaded this one HandBrake-1.0.7-i686-Win_GUI.exe Was able to succesfully install it Will post if i could resize the video
  4. Havent tried any other programs, was wondering about Adobe Premiere but i guess my pc wouldnt run it. Will try the one u recommended, handbrake. Ty very much!!. Low bitrate? How much would u suggest to put? I dont even know what bitrate is. -------------------- Edit: The web download says that the windows file is for 64 bits. I have 32bits Should i download an older version? 1.3.2 The first one?
  5. Hi, first of all im terribly sory if this post doesnt go in this forum. Its just too big and couldnt find the proper one. SO as the title says I was wondering if there is way to reduce the size of some videos. All of the videos are a 2 hours duration class. Where a man speaks in front of the camera. Dont care much about definition. Im going to watch them in a 14 or 15" notebook. Maybe even obtain the mp3 track and just listen. Currently the size of the videos are 2 GB with a 720phd resolution i pressume. Dont know how to check this. I managed to get the last session in a 540p and the size is 1 GB also in 360p for 500 MB. I viewed them and are perfect. Ill keep them both and delete the 720phd one cause its too heavy. Did not do it yet cause i was wondering if its possible to resize to 480p but 500 MB seems pretty fine i must say. I dont have a place where to storage them at the current 2 GB size. Im currently using the cellphone storage space and its not too much. Only 32 GB. Which currently has 2 GB free. Thats the reason i would like to reduce the file size so i could end up having like 10 GB free instead of 2 GB. Tried using VLC Media player to reduce the sizes but always end up with a 3 GB video hahaha. I dont know what i am doing wrong. Also tried using Freemake Video Converter and while the video is being processed it reaches 70% the file size is already at 2 GB and the pc freezes completely. Im using a potato netbook. Atom Z3735F 1.33 GHz, 2 GB ram, W32 bit, 5 GB free space *32/27 GB originally (could use 6 to 7 GB but the storage becomes red with a 1 GB left over). The edition process i made already took 4 hours long in VLC and in Freemake it just stopped working. Had to shut down the pc by force cause it doesnt have a reset button. Its more of a tablet than a pc.. The only thing i want to do it resize the videos from 2 GB to 1 GB / 500 MB preferably 540p/480p. 360p becomes too blurry so its a no go haha. Okay ... If there is any more information needed bother not and ask. Ty everyone for reading.
  6. Hello forum!!My sister did this website animalastral.com in Wix and searching through the internet she found a website called wearezizo.com and nathan.tokyo. She was fascinated with these animations. She was wondering how these are made and if it possible to "replicate" and add them to her website. So the questions would be if it is possible to add them to her website and with which program/s should be done? Any tutorials in particular to keep in mind or any would suffice?
  7. Hello forum!! My sister did this website animalastral.com and searching through the internet she found some sites that dont have the ".com" at the end of the url like this one for example nathan.tokyo. She asked me how or if it is possible to change the url of her website to animal.astral but i really dont have any idea whatsover if it is even indeed possible. So i decided to ask here if you can help us. If it is, what should she do in order to have the url registred like that? Thank you all very much for reading and taking your time answering. Have a good day!
