    I didn't say I cancelled, I just said I got those emails. My orders have yet to be cancelled but they're still in the "Preparing for Shipment" stage. So I guess it's just a matter of time.

    I got emails from both sellers asking me for mercy and to cancel the order myself. They both gave a sob story at the end about how hard it'll be to feed their kids if they get fired.

    To be honest, I'm more drawn to Tesla's design rather than its novelty of being electric. I wish manufacturers would make a conventional car with a Tesla-esque design so that its more affordable for the average joe.

    It's so that they can charge your card after your 30 day trial if you happen to forget about it. They're not gonna let you have a free 30 days without some sort of catch

    The mechanics were pretty fun but the storyline was fairly plain. Also the game progression was extremely linear.

    I know I'm being irrational, but I just don't like the fact AMD is milking the market with 2 year old technology that they just added some sparkle dust to. I realize this happens all the time in other industries but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

    While that's true, the main argument made above was that it wasn't worth an extra $200(or even $100 imo). However at around an extra $30-50, its a worthwhile consideration depending on how much he values silence/heat output. Not the mention that the 970 will hold its value much better compared to the 290x

    If you've considered buying a used 290x, why not a used 970? They go for around $350 CAD. I just bought a BNIB EVGA 970 with the ACX cooler for $330 last week and I was able to register it for a full 3 year warranty

    Personally, I think the whole vessel platform is garbage and doesn't work anywhere nearly as well as youtube. Their exclusivity is the only reason I even bother with it

    I'm not sure if getting uv fluid when u already have uv tubing is that worthwhile. Although I haven't done any research, I can't imagine it'll make that much of a difference in appearance since the tubing already lights up. It'll also significant increase the cost of replacing the fluid everytime u flush the loop. My current system has clear uv tubing with plain distilled water and it looks great when lit up.

    A $350 budget is a bit limiting if u want to do a proper loop. I'd suggest saving until u have about $500 to really build a good looking, reliable loop. But ofc if u didn't care about aesthetics at all, $350 will be plenty. As a matter of fact there's already a guide for a $200 loop (tho I forget if that includes gpu or not)
