  1. think tiny lightning bolt shooting out of your finger into whatever electronics you're holding.   thats whats happening.

when i was building servers i saw a few instances of ESD burning out parts of the motherboard, but physical damage is rare.   usually it causes issues that are hard to diagnose, ram or processor not clocking correctly, maybe a usb port not working, graphics card not getting enough power. just weird shit, often people think the motherboard is doa, when actually they fried it on accident without realizing it.

not everybody wants to code even a little bit, but it depends what he likes

what coding?  doing projects with a raspberry pi doesnt instantly mean your writing your own javascript.

there are thousands of projects that can be setup in mere minutes, with no coding whatsoever.

apt-get and git clone is not coding.

Experience has taught me that interest begets expectation, and expectation begets disappointment, so the key to avoiding disappointment is to avoid interest. A equals B equals C Equals A, or whatever. I also don't have a lot of interest in being a good person or a bad person. From what I can tell, either way, you're screwed. What's the point when the game is literally free. They can remake a new steam account and go back to hacking right away since it's not like they'll get banned before a few days/weeks once more.

That sort of tactic might be somewhat effective in a paid game where there's a "barrier of entry", but free? Nah.

yep! i completely agree.  and thats just one reason for doing it, im sure there are others that make more sense on the business side of things.

more than likely they keep the bots and stuff in to bump up the active player count to look good for shareholders, and as soon as they show off their numbers and it doesnt matter anymore, then they ban them.    but thats "probably" just tin-foil hat stuff.

VAC bans don't happen as they are found guilty of cheating. You may get flagged on day 1 but only get banned on day 65, since they prefer to ban in waves after x amount of time. Which is dumb AF, but hey, that's how they do it.

the idea is that doing it in waves, makes it more difficult for the bot/hack creators to identify what it was that triggered the flag, thus "theoretically" making it harder for them to stay under the radar next time.

Thats not the case on the radio he listed. That works for many aftermarket radios but thats not what we are dealing with here. Also for what its worth thats also not always the way you do it on aftermarket either. For the OP I looked through what I could but honestly without having and actual radio in my hands I couldnt find enough info to give you a correct answer. If you do figure it out/do it Id love to hear your procedure.

    very true.

with his specifically, after digging into what i can find, i believe if he grounds the white wire, and provides 12v to the green wire in the factory wiring harness, it should do the trick.

however, a disclaimer, its not one that ive personally worked on and theres always a chance itll also just blow up the radio.

you can also find and buy an adaptor that you can just plug in, and itll do what he needs, but they are rather expensive

  7. videogames (runescape mostly when i was younger) taught me how to type. and other various tidbits of random knowledge that i'll never need to know.

in science class, the teacher asked us how glass is made. from my vast runescape experience, i was able to give a fairly accurate outline of the actual process.

gaming has also been good for team building and being more social in general.

  8. there is no reason to use this product on a touch/trackpad or laptop screen of any kind.

its designed to be used as a hydrophobic, scratch resistant layer for cars so you dont fuck up the clear coat when some asshole rubs against it in the parking lot, it also makes it easier to clean and wash. while it has some potential for phones, because those are more likely to get scratched being in your pocket, or setting down on various surfaces, for basically anything else, it would serve no purpose.
