  1. You seem to have it figured out honestly, removing all the slotted components and keeping them in their boxes would be the safest bet. If you have a heavy cpu cooler I would also remove it to avoid any potential breakage.
  2. If that's what the heart truly desires, then get it! Still a touch pricy for me.
  3. If your pc is having cooling issues I'd get the fans, if not I'd get the HDD. I don't buy games at full retail price.
  4. The 4790k is quite a bit faster than that Xeon due to a .4ghz difference in clock speed. Even on a H81 chipset motherboard you could overclock the i7 slightly, making it even faster. I was having this debate with myself recently and I'm going to end up buying an unlocked i7 at some point. The single threaded performance of a Xeon just isn't going to cut it.
  5. That would be a bottleneck for CPU heavy games. What exactly do you think is the bottleneck? That looks like a well balanced system.
  6. My buddy built a new rig, so I snagged his 16gb ddr3 ram for £15. It feels absolutely silly currently because my cpu is an i3 4130, but at least my system is ready for some decent multitasking when I -eventually- slot an i7 into it. (a used 4770k is still £115 currently :/)
  7. I was able to see the listings but it referred to the login screen when I tried to open one. Thanks again for the advice, there probably isn't a way around it at this point.
  8. It still refers to the login screen. Thanks a lot for trying! I feel bad for spamming this thread so I'll most likely just make an account.
  9. When I try to open the link I get referred to the login screen, it seems to happen if I've been on Aliexpress recently. It's like I can only view so many things before they try forcing me to make an account.
  10. Is there a way to view things on Aliexpress without making an account?
