  2. Update: I saved changes and reset and now the problem is back
  3. FIXED I just randomally tried turning it on and it worked! I’m setting up bios what should I do? Reset the settings?

  5. To add on, while I let it “rest” for an hour or two when I switched the PSU back on and then pressed the power button the system stayed on for longer than usual, about 3 seconds and then shut itself off again. Then it went back to the half a second loop.
  6. I don’t think anything is wrong with the motherboard, just checked. I thought it was the PSU too but I don’t have another PSU to use. It’s frustrating because all the parts I used to build this PC was brand new and the system itself is brand new, only 3 days ago I built it. It was also working fine but I’m considering taking it to the local repair shop.
  7. Update: after resetting the battery and taking out the GPU using the internal graphics the power button still turns on my case LED and fans for a second and turns it off then repeats this until I switch the PSU
  8. Just an update: the power button still won’t turn the pc on, like I said before this same thing happened last time I took out the battery but overnight I was able to turn it on again.
  9. I unplugged the power, switched the PSU off, then I took out my GPU. After I did that, I took out the little battery then put my screwdriver to my jumper. My MoBo WiFi was already off. Now I’m just waiting for my pc to be able to turn on.
  10. I took out the battery and put a screwdriver to my jumper and my PC won’t power up. This happened last time I took out my battery and put it back in but eventually it boots again.
  11. Also when I first tried booting this morning to see if it just fixed itself, two lights in the motherboard turned on, it was red then orange then the pc just shut off and cycled and the lights went on again. The lights usually don’t turn on. Then on like the 3rd cycle that’s when the case led stayed on and the gpu fans kept spinning but noting else was on and there was no display on the monitor.
  12. Took out both ram sticks and put them back in, I pressed the power button and this time the case led stayed on and the GPU fans stayed on but the other fans didn’t turn in and there was nothing on the monitor. I then turned off the pc and now the boot loop is happening.
  13. I built this pc 3 days ago and it was working perfectly fine, I went to a friends house for the night and when I came back the PC wouldn’t turn on. When I pressed the power button the fans would spin and the case LED would turn on for about half a second and then the whole system turned off. It then repeated this until I cut off the PSU. I searched up some solutions and tried all of them. I tested the ram, took out all my usb appliances and re-seated the GPU. I then took o the CMOS battery and put it back in like they said and now my PC just doesn’t do anything at all when I press the power button. specs Intel core i7-9700k Geforce RTX 2060 Kraken m22 liquid cooler ASUS Rog Strix Z390-e gaming motherboard corssor RM650 psu Corsair vengeance 2x8 ram 1tb western ssd
