After some annoyances with PLEX - Being unable to read ..\Subs or ..\Subtitles files i've written a script in PowerShell which essentially Renames & moves the subtitle files to a location PLEX will actually see and read.
Future Plans
ISO-639
Scan all files instead of having to do seasons etc.
Current Bugs:
Copies one subtitle file over and doesnt rename it.
It works well and does what it needs to do which allows PLEX to read it.
I am No_MansLand on reddit - so I'm not stealing anyone's work. This is available to all free of charge and if you have any ideas i'm open to hearing them.
URL for Script: https://pastebin.com/5vyvdHDB
Instructions:
Copy the whole text file from pastebin and paste it into a notepad document
Save the file as a .PS1 file on your computer
Right Click the file & Open with PowerShell
Read the on screen instructions - this will also work with Mapped Drives.
wait and relax whilst all your subtitles are moved across so PLEX can actually read it.
Again, Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Fyi: Any thing stupid/mistypes/typos/incorrect capitilzation - this was written at 10pm at night on a work night.. whilst watching something.. also using the word "Color" is just weird, it should be Colour.
Been looking at home security recently and stumbled upon the Wyze cam, I'd be interested in seeing something about that
Budget home security or something along those lines
