  1. Hi All, After some annoyances with PLEX - Being unable to read ..\Subs or ..\Subtitles files i've written a script in PowerShell which essentially Renames & moves the subtitle files to a location PLEX will actually see and read. Future Plans ISO-639 Scan all files instead of having to do seasons etc. Current Bugs: Copies one subtitle file over and doesnt rename it. It works well and does what it needs to do which allows PLEX to read it. I am No_MansLand on reddit - so I'm not stealing anyone's work. This is available to all free of charge and if you have any ideas i'm open to hearing them. URL for Script: https://pastebin.com/5vyvdHDB Instructions: Copy the whole text file from pastebin and paste it into a notepad document Save the file as a .PS1 file on your computer Right Click the file & Open with PowerShell Read the on screen instructions - this will also work with Mapped Drives. wait and relax whilst all your subtitles are moved across so PLEX can actually read it. Again, Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Fyi: Any thing stupid/mistypes/typos/incorrect capitilzation - this was written at 10pm at night on a work night.. whilst watching something.. also using the word "Color" is just weird, it should be Colour.

  4. I personally would recommend increasing your PSU to a minimum of 500W, others may have more idea but for all my builds I always do a minimum of 500w, I dont use it? fine, I need it, it's there. My current build I think has a 750w, always better to go above then under.

  7. Facebook has been fined for inflating their views 150-900% on videos causing several websites to shut down / go bankrupt (CollegeHumor / FunnyOrDie) Source: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr-esq/facebook-pay-40-million-under-proposed-settlement-video-metrics-suit-1245807 Twitter (CollegeHumor): https://twitter.com/samreich/status/1214985379343822849 Twitter (Adam Conover): https://twitter.com/adamconover/status/1215035915300560896
  8. Does it just shut down or turns off and on automatically? If it's Restarting when it POSTS this could be a Hardware Fault, CPU / RAM / PSU - Begin with the PSU.
  9. I don't see what your problem is... they have great Customer Cervice. [/sarcasm] It's more than likely a site that just flogs cheap merch
  10. I deleted the installation file located under: C:\Program Files(x86)\InstallShield Files\{PRODUCT-ID}\ and it came good.. stupid InstallShield
  11. So i've been fighting this for months and gave up and now I'm back at it again. I need to update my ASUS AURA software but I keep getting: "Unhandled Exception Error Number: 0x80004005 Description: Unspecified error Setup will now terminate." 12. I know i'm a bit slow to the party - but I would love to see this. Which Linux Distro is best for a NVR? Is Shinobi or Zoneminder better?
  13. as TheProfessionalAmatuer has said, it could be a faulty mobo... may need to take it back
  14. Have you checked all your connections are in securely (power)? Also, I've done this one before - is the CPU in the right way?
  15. Check your BIOS if it's showing up in your BIOS then you have a Good HDD, just needs to be setup in Disk Manager under Windows. How ever if it doesnt show up on the BIOS change your SATA Cord and maybe also the power connector to it. You can always check it by utilizing Ultimate Boot CD and you'll need to use Rufus to burn it to a USB.
  16. If you just want to do a clean install - Insert your installation media & reinstall the operating system. If you want to clone it, I've never heard of any issues, but others may of. You will need to setup your BIOS to boot from your NVMe, if you reinstall the operating system and fail to wipe the 2.5" SSD your computer could boot to this one and not your clean boot, so set your boot priority on your BIOS, and format your 2.5" when you install your operating system again.
  17. Have you checked your power supply? Have a sniff of it and you will be able to check if it's blown, or you can get your hands on a multimeter check the outputs to ensure they're fine. Outside of that check your motherboard for any blown capacitors
  18. If you want to run V/Ms you can use unRaid.
