  1. i'm pretty much on the same boat as OP: Ryzen 5 3600X, 3060Ti, 16gb ram, XMP enabled running stable at 3600. i play at 1080p at 144htz and was wondering if upgrading to a 5600 (not X) for Black Friday would be worth it or a waste of money... mmm.... in can get a 5600 for 140 bucks.. i'm tempted...
  2. Also, a bit more info would be useful, like specs, does your current config has dual monitor setup, etc..
  3. That really depends on wich games you intend to play.. Minecraft? you're golden. Microsoft Flight Simulator?? nope. Everything is an in between. Also, depends on level of details you're gonna set. Everything maxed out on ultra nightmare? Medium? an so on..
  4. I had a similar issue with a PNY 1660 Super, there's no apparent way to turn the damn light off. Believe it or not, someone on Reddit (can't remember where, sorry) suggested installing the EVGA Precision X1 software, and lo and behold.. it works. Try using the same! you can find it here https://www.evga.com/precisionx1/
  5. Also, please update this post with pictures once you've done it, pretty curious of the results..
  6. Here, EVGA has one model like that https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=06G-P4-1068-KR
  7. Temps? both CPU and GPU? New build from scratch?
  8. Goodspeed to you mate, may your fps be high and temp low
  9. Yup. Tell me where i can find any 3070 in EU for that price and i'll go on my merry way oh kind sir..
  10. nope, no sudden shutdowns that i remember and yes, for the little time that i tested the "holding the power button" worked every time. Mind you, i did all the tests, swaps and eventually rebuild in a couple of days.
  11. Uhm.. had the exact same issue last summer, with a different configuration. I tried pretty much all your steps, and in the end i found a burned trace in the back of my motherboard.. not sure if it can help? i swapped the mobo for a test and everything went back to normal.. until i replaced my whole system the weeek after, was due to upgrade anyway...
  12. Try removing the drivers again via DDU, and reinstall the older version, and see if it works again. If the older drivers won't recognize the card, it's time to bite the bullett: the card is toast.
  13. better question would be when they'll be readily available..
  14. Also, speaking from experience, are you sure your monitor works? have you tried it on another pc?
  15. would you mind explaing why? I'm also curious, thanks
