I think regular 1 V would be enough - bah  - 1 IV ain't much of a downgrade from V - if able to purchase a year old phone

    Welcome to the forum!

Your standout issue is your GPU. It's too weak to run GTAv at 60FPS (unless turned down to the absolute lowest settings). You will likely need to do a GPU upgrade, and the PSU you have will be the ultimate determing factor in how powerful of a GPU you can actually get.

Do you have a pre built, or is it a custom made PC?

There is a Rockstar launcher option to buy, however I can't really think anyewhere else where you could buy a digital copy of gta IV.

I really would like this bug of +2gb ram fixed since I would enjoy it with better graphic option

There's only one thing I don't like on the new controller design, it's where the d-pad and the buttons are it's a full continous, no separation, (I'll put images below to explain better), It's the only reason why I feel a bit uncorfortable on the Xbox controller,

wolfxtr3m got a reaction from Ayush007 in Thinking to buy GTA 4 again
GTA IV came back on steam after some fixes like games for windows life removal, and shutdown of online gameplay, some radios and tracks removed due to license. the only great thing about coming back is that now it's all in pack, GTA IV + Episodes from Liberty City instead of buying them seperated.

However even with all this stuff, there still is the same problem for GPU's with more than 2Gb VRAM it bugs and dosent let increase graphics, I used to be able to fix with a command line but now not even that works for me, I'm waiting to see if there's any update on steam that might fixed that.

I'm not sure what you mean.  You put the disk in, it installs, it appears in your library.

Will this let you play it without the disk?  No, because then you could just borrow disks and play them forever.

Tbh, we are yet to know more details about PS5, a few years back there was a gran turismo running 8k 120fps, was it running on a test ps5 ? we don't really know.
One thing I like about the SSD spec here is that they are already counting the space that the ps5 system will occupy on the drive, from what I know so far there ain't no 800 something GB SSD.

Another thing that is yet to be known is of there will be possible to run ps1 2 and 3 games, most that was talked on the "Road to PS5" was hardware base, we don't even know how the design will be.

This 3d audio tempest is really interesting, at least to me, the fact there will be once processor just for it is awesome and can lend part of it to the console main CPU.

We know for sure that will run 4k/120fps, and like ps4 pro, we all know that the 8k will be mainly for movies like netflix or to probable future 8k blu-ray movies.

And will also come to hardware architecture design, a good hardware architecture may help a lot in performance.

Don't get me wrong, despite being a PS fan I'm thinking on getting a Xbox, I don't own a current gen console neither previous gen console, I know they are both good platforms for gaming.

It will be interesting to see how I can expand the storage for the PS5.
Personally, I went with a Firecuda 2TB on my PS4 and it's about half full.
Could not afford a 2TB SSD back then.

I love SAO so maybe need to give that a try.

SAO has a special place as it was my first anime (if you don’t count pokemon and shin chan).

I still remeber sitting down and saying to myself “ok lets give this a try” when it first came out on Netflix. I was mostly watching Star Trek and Stargate at the time and was in need of something fresh.

I loved it and soon tried Gurren Lagann which was superb and made me cry at least once. I was hooked after that but only really watched what Netflix UK has fed me. On a trip to Canada I downloaded a bucket of things we didn’t have in the UK, The Devil is a Part-Timer stood out.

I still hate it a bit when the cultural differences make it difficult to watch at times and i can only tolerate a little fan service before I cringe so I try to avoid that.

Steins;Gate is still #1 though and nothing can kick that off the top.

Angel Beats was the biggest tear jerker as I pretty much cried for a whole episode there.

Some singleplayer games have an immense amount of replay value, see: They Are Billions.

Sometimes it's really nice to just have a chill laid-back gaming session. This is most of the reason I play Minecraft, it's nice to do whatever I want in my survival world.

PvP is fun for me, but sometimes even I need a break from it.

Well lets take stardew valley for example. You just harvest plants and can achieve some goals if you want to. I like playing it because it's just a nice chill pace where I can seek out some adventure in the mines if I want or just spend my days fishing fish. I like to just not have to be on edge the whole time and just relax as I know nothing really bad can happen.

wolfxtr3m reacted to Kisai in Gaming pc turns off and smoke comes out
Smoke means something is shorted, trace all your cables to see if something's been severed. At this point, you may have destroyed everything directly connected to the power supply, so I would probably start over and build a new system with none of the parts you let the magic smoke out of.

There must be some store that has at least some boards on display? You just need some basic options, at least few switch types to test out, it doesn't matter that much what brand, be it corsair or asus.

So true, Sony sees E3 as expensive show, they just copied Nintendo with a Play of State, this february  they going to make "Experince Playstation" which is probable they Announce more details to PS5, rather then just basic stuff we knew (except the logo, but that was an obvious logo) from leak info on CES

wolfxtr3m reacted to Bombastinator in GPU Compatibility For Asus G20AJ
Seen something similar here recently.  Older prebuilt.  Minimal PSU, has old card, wants to put in new card.  Original could only barely handle the card that was origionally put in it in the first place.

id say the same rationale applies.

The issue is there is two ways to look at this problem: “will it work at all? And “is it safe?”
Your machine is NOT whitebox. It’s parts were designed to work very specifically together.  Can they work apart as well? Sure.  But more slop is needed because the engineers who put those parts together knew al lot more about that those parts than we do and as a result were able to push things harder.

Good news:  Both the 750 and the 1650 do not use any external power connectors so in theory it should “work”

Bad news: Will it be “Safe”?  Will your PSU not pop when faced with this new card?  Maybe maybe not.  The specs are too close for whitebox specs. They’re prescriptive prebuilt specs.  They’re well inside the whitebox safety margin.  Doesn’t mean they’re not safe though.
