  1. Hello guys, so i have now 2 Monitors, both AOC, 32inch. One is an older one, AoC Q3279WG5B 1440p,but i use it as a secondary, for more space for applications, open windows etc. . The other one i use for, well almost everything else, is an AOC C32G1, it's an curved 144hz, only 1080p, though i use it only on 120hz ( less GPU usage, and for me anything that can run at 120 fps is more than enough ) . I want to set up a 3 monitor surround display mode. I play a lot of DIRT Rally 2.0, so i would like a bit more immersive gameplay. Since i got the C32G1, i am really happy with it, since it has FreeSync, using it with the G-Sync compatibility setting in Nvidia control panel, only on fullscreen, works for me really good. I have two Asus Strix GTX 1070 OC's in SLI. So my main question is, is it worth upgrading for 3 1440p (120-144hz) monitors ? (in this case i'll sell my current monitors) . I know higher resolution means more GPU usage, can also turn AA off. OR is it better if i buy 2 other 1080p's like the one i have, C32G1. Will the two GTX 1070s handle 3 x 1440p 's ? Currently i get with a bit of overclocking the following results in Heaven ( see below ),don't know if it's good, or bad, though. At 1080p, on Ultra, Tesselation and AA turned off. CPU is also permanently overclocked to 5.0Ghz. Btw sorry for the new topic, ( i searched the forum for this AOC monitor, all topics were relatively old ) .
  2. Thank you guys for your answers, well i got it ordered the 3200's in the meantime. I read about Adobe RAM usage, yes it seems really high. I appreciate your opinions, thx. Have a good one.
  3. Hello guys, so after searching the forum for like half an hour, i didn't really find anything answering my question, so sorry if there is actually a topic about this. My question is if it really pays out upgrading from 32GB (2166mhz) of RAM to 64GB (3200 / or 3600mhz) . I am planning to do digital art/ rendering - and high resolution video editing. I play games quite often, but i find my PC to be enough for all the games i have, the main reason would be as mentioned above. I found a good deal on some Corsair Vengence PRO Rgb 3200Mhz modules, 64GB in total, the 2x16 ( x2 ) kit is actually cheaper than a 4x16 kit now on amazon. My current PC spec ( as listed below ) has a mobo with XMP Profile possibility- though i didn't use it before. I didn't really want to OC a 2166, higher than it's rated in fear of damaging them. Thank in advance for your answers and btw. happy holidays for you all My Config: CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K @ 5.0Ghz -running at 40-55 C on load - Mobo OC Profile CPU Cooler: Corsair H150i PRO Motherboard: Asus ROG Z390 E-Gaming GPU: Asus ROG Strix GTX 1070 OC Gaming - in SLI RAM: Corsair Vengence LPX - DDR4 - 32GB 2166Mhz
