  1. First of all, thanks for the replies and suggestions, I will now respond to some of them specifically. The Dancase A4 formfactor is what we are looking for. Portability takes precedence over performance because we do have other machines for the heavy lifting i should have pointed that out. As an example, we are working on a rather creativ video project where it is important that the director can be present during the post production but the directors location isn't really close to us. So its more useful to book a hotel and stay with them for a few days and bring the hardware to them. We have had und will have more orders of this kind or we need to present VR at the customer (or a Trade fair). Mostly other peripherals or on site but no powerful system. Do you have any other similar suggestions like the Dancase A4? Yeah Macs are a consideration espacially for all Adobe editing stuff, the main problem is that most of our VR are build for windows. I have to speak with the software developers if we can just build them for Mac OS without extra work. Do you have experience with VR on Macbooks or Mac Studio regarding temps and performance after longer sessions? After all we need to be able to show VR for 8-10 hours without downtime on trade fairs.
  2. Budget (including currency): 1500-2000 € Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Adobe Premiere (Video editing, e.g. 4k and 360° Video rendering), Blender (3D Modeling & Rendering), Virtual Reality (programming with Unity) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): looking for small form-factor with handles for Portability We are a small software company from Germany. Our product portfolio includes virtual reality, AR, 3D rendering and video editing. We are looking for a solution for a powerful PC that is portable at the same time. (something like RTX 3070, 16/32 GB RAM, SSD etc.). The PC should also be flexible enough to be taken to customers or trade fairs. We have had bad experiences with laptops in terms of performance (poor cooling, badly tuned parts or similar). Ideally, we will find a micro-ATX case with carrying handles and good cooling in which the corresponding components fit. (I have airflow concerns with the Lian Li TU150). Something like the Zotac ZBOX Magnus One but with a handle would be great). I hope you can give us some pointers espacially for cases and fitting cards.
  3. Ne Ne sie zahlt schon selber, hat aber soviel Ahnung von Technik wie ich von Schminke Thanks for the tipp, I hadn't thought of it.
  4. Hey Guys, I'm looking for a Laptop around 250-450 € for my girlfriend (we are based in Germany). Most of the time she is doing office work (word, excel) and web browsing. Also she wants to be able to play sims 4 and similar games and do some photo editing (nothing to heavy, mostly Phone-Camera quality pictures). Touch Display (or 2 in 1) would be cool to have but is not a must. What can you recommend? I was looking for Systems with ssd/ 8 Gb ram but i would like some inspirations and another point of view. :) Thanks in advance for all replies, hope you can help me out. :)
