  1. Ok I checked this out and it seems like I cannot do what I want to do. Thanks for linking me this.
  2. I currently use the Samsung 27" Odyssey G7 WQHD 240Hz but am trying to use the AVerMedia Live Gamer Ultra 2.1 as a capture card. In order to use the full range of my monitor at 1440p at 240Hz with the capture card I believe I have to somehow convert the DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1. Is this true? If so, what cable should I try to use? Thanks for the help,
  3. Budget (including currency): Flexible, looking at price for performance at different levels. Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: X-Plane 12, and flight simulators like that, but that is literally it. No editing, streaming, or recording. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): My dad just needs the PC, but is wondering what different tiers of price for performance looks like from low, medium, to high. If anyone has any recommendations that would be great! He doesn't want to spend a fortune on the build, but does want it to run well. He doesn't care about 4k, so I am going to assume that he is going to be playing at 1080 p or 2k. Thanks!
  4. I haven't done much with it tbh, but I also just found this monitor for 450.00 so I think I am going to just do it. It is a pretty insane deal tbh! I just looked at facebook marketplace and other places and they are selling theirs for way more.
  5. Here is a new deal for the Samsung Odyssey 7 for $200.00 dollars cheaper, is this worth it? https://www.microcenter.com/product/624661/samsung-c27g75t-odyssey-g7-27-wqhd-(2560-x-1440)-240hz-hdmi-dp-g-sync-compatible-hdr-curved-led-gaming-monitor?mkt_tok=NTYwLU5CUy03NTMAAAGA8hgw8j0qTUDuo6VrMZeE6s6RuCO-VpiDdAZdzuQNRu4pFnEIObUJlb5lRrYvjGGOxZuRsBdiwWcvASWM7srQIzSqgY_KyDUAxMVaItyXBQ I do a lot of gaming, and do content creation and am looking to upgrade to a 1440p monitor if that helps at all.
  6. Hello y'all! A friend is selling his PC and I was wondering if this was a good deal at all if I wanted to use it as 2nd pc for streaming. His asking price is 450, but I could probably lower that down a bit. Thanks! Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-7400 Processor 6M Cache, up to 3.50 GHz RAM: 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4 RAM HDD: 1TB 7200RPM Sata HDD Video Card: EVGA GTX 1050 Ti 4GB WiFi: Combo WiFi and Bluetooth card Power Supply: 500w ATX PSU Operating System: Windows 10 Home
  7. Thanks for the help! Ill look into this! I do a good amount of content creation so I am not sure if panning the audio more towards the left will affect how the audio is recorded or not. But thanks!
  8. Hello everyone! So I have an issue. I am really into gaming, and am into competitive gaming and compete in some competitions in war zone and call of duty. The biggest issue for me having trouble hearing when people are on the left of me (in game). The reason why is that I have hearing loss is my left ear sense I was not born with a left ear. To make a long story short, they were able to construct one, but the hearing is around 40ish% of what my normal ear can hear. Using an earbud helps with me being able to hear better, but I am wondering if there is a way for me to split audio so that I can have an earbud play at a louder volume then my headphones do. My set up for audio is a GoXLR Mini if that helps for whatever reason. Not sure if anyone can help me with this, but I figure that is is worth a shot!
  9. I am going to be doing some overclocking, so water cooling is the ideal for me.
  10. Hello! I am upgrading my system and will be have this system once I can actually get the parts for it (hopefully one day I can beat the bots!) I do want to go for a liquid cooled system, and do not have enough money, or the want to make a custom water cooled system. With black Friday around, I have seen a lot of coolers going on sale, but am not sure which one is the best bang for the buck. I was originally using the stock wraith CPU with my Ryzen 7 3700x, but am upgrading to a Ryzen 9 5900x for those of you who are wondering. 11. Thanks guys for the help! I appreciate it! Thanks!
  12. Budget (including currency): Not really a concern. Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I plan on streaming and recording my gameplay at the highest quality that I am able to without sacrificing frames (because I like to play to the best of my ability). I play games like overwatch, call of duty cold war, war zone, apex legends, and many other like it. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Here is my current build. I am wanting to upgrade my GPU to the RXT 3080 and want to upgrade my CPU to a new Ryzen 5 series cpu, but am not sure what I should go for. I do not want to drop all the money on a 5950x, but still want a good build without bottle necking the GPU. Also, would I need to upgrade my power supply to a 750 watt supply or is my 650 ok enough. Thanks! 13. Budget (including currency): Around $500.00 but wouldn't mind it being cheaper. Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, maybe streaming, and recording gameplay. It doesn't need to be extremely fancy, but just needs to hit over 100 frames while recording and or streaming while playing games like Overwatch, Star Wars the Old Republic, and assassins creed like games. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello everyone! I am helping my sister build a PC and she will be using some of my older parts that I will not be using (I am upgrading my CPU to a new AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and GPU to the RXT 3080.) She will already have the CPU (AMD Ryzen 7 3700x) and GPU (Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT). Let me know if y'all need anymore information about what it will be using for.
  14. Hello, I am currently looking for a 240 hertz monitor for some competitive level gaming. I was looking at amazon and this monitor popped up with a price drop and I was wondering if this is a good choice for a monitor for $370.00 dollars. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TNXFXF6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
