    3700x cooling

Thank you dude! Just purchased the arctic freezer 34. Ideally, I would like to have a be quiet dark rock 4. But it is out of my budget. I'll consider adding the other two 1400 fans later

    3700x cooling

Hi guys! I'm building my first rig. The components are as the following The Fractal Design Meshify C comes with two 120mm fans. I'm wondering which option is better: Buy a third party cpu cooler Buy two 140mm fans I mainly run CPU intensive job and hope to have a quiet rig.
  3. Purchased RM750 https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/p/CP-9020195-NA
  4. I finally got a RX 5500XT from Asrock
  5. I probably need to hackintosh so I mainly consider AMD cards
  6. Hi guys! I'm building my first rig. The main use will be programing and CPU intensive computing. I may also play some games like PUBG and Assassin's Creed but my main gaming machine is XBOX. 1080p for gaming should be enough for me. My current configuration is like the following I need a dedicated graphic card. I'm considering between RX 570 and RX 580. A new RX 570 costs about 140 w/o tax MSI Radeon RX 570 DirectX 12 RX 570 8GT OC 8GB 256-Bit https://www.newegg.com/msi-radeon-rx-570-rx-570-8gt-oc/p/N82E16814137521?Description=rx 570&cm_re=rx_570-_-14-137-521-_-Product&quicklink=true ASRock Phantom Gaming D Radeon RX 570 DirectX 12 RX570 8G https://www.newegg.com/asrock-radeon-rx-570-rx570-8g-oc/p/N82E16814930008?Description=rx 570&cm_re=rx_570-_-14-930-008-_-Product&quicklink=true A used RX 580 is about the same price: MSI Radeon RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC 8GB GDDR5 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX: 138+15shipping https://www.ebay.com/itm/MSI-Radeon-RX-580-ARMOR-8G-OC-8GB-GDDR5-PCI-Express-x16-HDCP-Ready-CrossFireX/202997207986?epid=846275425&hash=item2f439393b2:g:HqMAAOSwkjxexbRQ Should I get a new RX 570 instead of RX 580? How likely a RX 580 is a mining card? I didn't see much difference between RX 570 and 580. Thanks in advance
  7. Hi guys! I'm looking for a budget PSU for my first build. My budget is below $100. All I want is stability. I may need to keep the machine on and run CPU intensive job for longer than a week. pcpartpicker estimates the power consumption is about 319W. I'm considering Seasonic FOCUS GM-550. $95 It's back-order on newegg https://www.newegg.com/seasonic-focus-550-gold-ssr-550fm-550w/p/N82E16817151203 Corsair RMx 550 $115 It's back-order on newegg https://www.newegg.com/corsair-rmx-series-rm550x-cp-9020177-na-550w/p/N82E16817139231 CORSAIR TX-M Series TX550M $116. It's sold by third party merchant on newegg https://www.newegg.com/corsair-tx-m-series-tx550m-550w/p/N82E16817139210?Description=Corsair TXM 550W&cm_re=Corsair_TXM_550W-_-17-139-210-_-Product&quicklink=true CORSAIR RM Series RM650 $115 It's back-order on newegg https://www.newegg.com/corsair-rm-series-rm650-cp-9020194-na-650w/p/N82E16817139101 Any other recommendations? Should I wait for the restock of other PSU?
  8. Definitely. I'm also considering a 3700x. My total budget is about $800 without monitor. Do you have some recommendations for the graphic card?
  9. Thank you so much! I definitely agree with your opinion on the possibility of low wattage power supply and only 2 ram slots. Personally, I would prefer to have 32G ram, which might need at least 4 slots. I tried to pick up parts but couldn't figure out a configuration with competitive price. I guess one reason is I picked Z390 but not B365. The parts you pick look amazing!
  10. I'm considering to get a rig for programming and CPU intense computation. Since I game on console, I don't need a dedicate graphic card. I recently find dell has a prebuilt system, which looks like a good deal. The link is here https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/desktops-all-in-one-pcs/vostro-small-desktop/spd/vostro-3471-desktop/smv3471w10ph217r7 i7 9700 + 8G RAM + 1TB HDD for $689 without tax. I know the memory is definitely not enough for me. How do you guys think?
  11. Hi guys! I'm looking for a laptop with a powerful intel CPU (at least better than i7-4700MQ) 16 GB memory or more a place for my 2TB 9mm 2.5 inch hard drive > 14 inch screen with numpad Budget around 1k USD, the lower the better ? It will be great if it is Hackintoshible, but it is not required. I don't really care much about dedicated graphic card as I game on console. I'll main use the laptop for coding and cpu demanding program. Razer blade 15 looks very promising but I couldn't afford the price ($1699 for 1660Ti basic model, wow!!). Thank you!!
