The IPS i bought i had actually got some money back from, i got a HP 24WF with audio for just £119, the 144hz monitor with inferior image quality was £230
No idea what are you talking about, there are a plenty of IPS 144hz displays. 180 quid AOC 24G2 might not the best of them but 235 quid LG GL650 are definitely very good image quality wise.
