  1. I love those tiny bezels and that backing material. Also the new LG UI seems very nice.
  2. I personally love the phone reviews, they are just plain realistic. He gives everyone sense of ownership that is kind of unique to linus.
  3. This is a darkest day for mankind. I just hope that somehow they sell oculus to someone like valve after some time like google did with mototrola.
  4. I have a dell Laptop. It was in the shop for a while and just came home. I just installed windows 8 and there is nothing else in the hard drive. I have noticed that it hangs a lot. Some of the applications load up just fine but some like task manager and Chrome sometimes take a lot of time to load and everything just gets unresponsive. Also there is some stuff that i downloaded and want to transfer it to my external hard drive but that is also not happening, it just gets stuck at 10% every time. I suspect there is problem with the hard drive but i don't exactly know what it is. I would really appreciate some help.

Cpu Cooler: Very low noise level with decent performance. There are better options out there in terms of acoustics but they don't perform as good as this one. Here's a chart from anandtech:- MB: Every thing you need, nothing you don't. Memory: Looks really great and frankly that's all that matters. Storage: Only SSD system so no spinning and whining noise from Hard drive. Video Card: Really fast and the Asus direct CUII cooler is the most quiet under load and 2nd when idle but by a very narrow margin:- Case: Every one likes this case. Its not the most quiet case in the world but its quiet enough and looks really great. Non Windowed version because its more quiet. Case Fans: Noctua Fans, nough said! They don't look very good but the case doesn't have any window, so...it works. PSU: Quiet and efficient and Corsair's name. Fan Controller: Looks really great in the front of the case and gets the gob done. All in all It is not the most quiet system that can be built but it doesn't sacrifice any performance.

Its completely white including the heatsink. Storage: One of the best price/Gb in both cases plus the samsung drive is really fast and comes with some cool software tech. Memory: Fully black heatspreader and lifetime warranty. Video card: Almost a r9 280x for 50 bucks less and a black Pcb. Case: My personal favourite case. Just the right blend of white and black. I am not very fond of completely white cases. Power supply: Really high quality and future proof.

(Generated by PCPartPicker 2013-11-16 12:09 EST-0500) CPU- Staple amd CPU Mb- One of the most popular 990fx mb out there, just works... Memory- AMD build, AMD memory. Storage- Its the one the thing that is very different from other people. i like all my games and software on ssd and the most important, Price/gb is one of the lowest of any ssd out there. Video card- almost as fast as 290x after overclocking, much cheaper. PSU- 80+ gold and future proof. Also corsair quality. Case- Yeah.... Its RED. Monitor- Best Bang for Buck IPS monitor
  8. It seems like you have already chosen the processor and MB. Case: For the case you could go with Cooler Master N200 or for a little bit more money, NZXT tempest 410(exceptional case for the money). Also Linus reviewed this case a while ago and realy liked it and its Atx instead of M-Atx so it provides much more compatibility for future. Memory: As this is an apu build, go with some 2400mhz 8GB kit. Power Supply: Corsair CX 430 Storage: 1Tb WD green and 60GB ssd for boot
  9. It looks like that flip phone was for the asian markets, but trying to sell these specifications in this day and age, they must be out of their of minds. Also the most astonishing part is that it costs around $850 here in India. Source: http://www.ibtimes.co.in/articles/517582/20131028/samsung-galaxy-golden-flip-phone-india-launch.htm

(Generated by PCPartPicker 2013-10-22 04:07 EDT-0400) Processor - Quad core for multi-tab browsing and integrated graphics for seamless HD playback and some need for speed etc. Motherboard - Reliable and good amount of ports. Storage - Hard drive for mass storage and ssd to make everything snappy. Memory - 4 GB is enough for daily tasks IMO. Case - Itx because it doesnt have to be big. Also prodigy is something that someone would not mind putting in living room. Everything else is pretty genric.
  11. So does this means that i can get away with a dual core petium or athlon?? I dont want any hiccups during streaming 1080p videos.
  12. Where i live, noise from the computer is not that big of a deal, and also i will only run two drives. Also i have already purchased the drives, all i want is motherboard, cpu and ram suggestions.
  13. You can say i am building an all-in-one, a server that would also be sometimes used for content consumption.
  14. Hey People I am planning to build a home media server with least expense possible. I am looking at intel pentium g2010 or amd athlon x2 270, but i am not sure that weather it will be able to transcode hd videos properly. Also i read somewhere that you need good gpu for htpc use. It would be great if i can know how much power do i need.
