  1. Thanks Cyracus and Ronothan for your replies. I installed the GPU without doing anything beforehand and it seems to be working perfectly. Though it didn’t update any drivers or such after starting it with the new GPU in, which worries me some (I assume each card has its own specific driver, but could be wrong). But all is working okay so far. Hope this may help someone in future!

  3. Hey all! I currently have a AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB (Sapphire Nitro+) and I just bought a AMD Radeon 6700 XT 12GB (also Sapphire Nitro+)(I paid $1,096.20 for it (after tax) from Newegg if anyone was wondering). I know just plugging in a new GPU can cause driver conflicts and in turn, cause other issues. So I was wondering, should I delete the current GPU drivers and let the new one load it’s own? I should mention that I am using AMD’s software, I think it’s called Adrenalin? It takes care of driver updates, can record gameplay, edit how your GPU works, etc. Would the program just update the drivers immediately so I don’t have to do anything? I Googled it but didn’t really get a clear answer. I don’t really want to uninstall the program and have to reinstall it and lose all of my settings. Does the program have a built in feature that can do this? I looked a bit, but didn’t see anything along those lines. Thank you for any help or insight!
  4. I'm not fully aware of what vram is or what you mean by virtual machines. I've built my PC so far and still learning new things from LTT every time I watch his videos haha. And which titan would you suggest? Aren't there a few options for them?
  5. I currently have the Radeon Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 8GB GPU. It still runs very well and I am using all of the ports on it for 4 monitors. I shouldn't need to upgrade for another year or two, but I'm not sure what to start looking for in a new GPU. This card starts to struggle with more than 2 videos playing, granted there are 4 monitors going. All games run smooth and at a decent FPS. Any suggestions or tips as to what I should be looking for in a new GPU? I still want to run 4 monitors. I usually have 2-3 instances of Minecraft running (I am an admin on a server and have 2 accounts on it, plus one more on my personal server). One monitor us usually dedicated to Discord, 2 usually have Minecraft on them, and the other is for videos. EDIT: Forgot to mention my monitors. Main display: Asus Acer Gaming Monitor 27” Curved ED273 Secondary display: Samsung 24" 1080p monitor Third display: Sceptre 24" tv Fourth display: Hisense 4k 43" tv Any help or advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you.
