  1. I had a friend tell me its not the gpus fault but i dont know what to beileve.
  2. The gpu shows up as Basic Display Adapter before installing drivers. When I go in safe mode it is shown as the RTX 2070 but it wont do any good in safe mode. If i try to normal boot windows is unable to load. Ive done what you said as well. Safe mode uninstall. Then try and update windows but if i connect to the internet the screen will go black and cut out again leading to the same problem.
  3. So i just built my first PC and I installed windows no problem. Now when I try and update the NVIDIA display drivers about half way through the install my screen will go blank and cut out but it wont turn off the display just turn blank leading to having to force the shut down. When I turn the pc back on the bios splash screen will show up and it will show that windows is loading but then that will cut out too and the screen will go blank like before and my led lights on my keyboard and mouse will shut off as well and then will just stay there leading me to have to shut it off again. Help. Ive tried doing the DDU method as well as reinstalling windows but I have no idea what is wrong, if its the gpu, the drivers, windows, or something else.
