  1. for gaming/streaming that his a beast machine. 1080ti is definitely overkill at 1080p and more suitted for 4k and could be changed for a 1080. SSD are fast enough that for gaming purposes you should only worry about quality, and sandisk is a reputable brand that i heard no major issues about therefore i would not worry about it. The double HDD is intriguing, if you use it for data protection then it's perfect (mirror raid) if you bought 2 strictly for more storage capacity then a single 2TB would be cheaper, if you went for performance (Raid 0 strip) then you would be better in investing in a bigger SSD considering the prices drops (raid 0 on 2 hdd will not achieve 1/4 of the performance of an SSD) the CPU cooler is luxurious and good temp can be achieve for cheaper but that is subjective at some extent not sure how many included fan are included with the case and CPU cooler but you should consider having good airflow since you gpu is not a blower style and will benefit from it. hope that helps
  2. that was just an example for an amp. let me try again as my example may not have been clear. what if you own a player of some sort (cd player)that uses RCA to send signal to an amp, and you want to be able to listen to your pc audio also on the same amp that you will purchase to drive your headphones, if you chose an amp with only 1 set of RCA inputs, you will have to unplug one device to plug the other when needed or pick an amp with multiple input connections with a switch to toggle from one or the other. maybe you use all your usb ports for other peripherals your are not willing to let go, then you would like a dac with optical as you have that unused output on your motherboard etc....
  3. Excellent guide only thing that is left out that should be reviewed in basic is connectivity options. (Example: some speakers don not have 1/4 inch jacks and only +/- terminals. etc...)
  4. Hi SweDerpZ While Cartboard could prove to be sufficient to accomplish the task of hiding your PSU and it`s cables, it could prove to be a fire hazard having it inside your computer depending of the application and your case. Secondly paint become hard when dry, contrary to the cardboard that is flexible, if not handled correctly you could end up cracking your paint job.from an aesthetics standpoint, cardboard is not always even and can be easily be damage. I would not recommend it Acrylic is a good choice as it aesthetically pleasing as it is but, will required additional tools and/cost to make it fit your application and if you want a specific color of acrylic can be challenging to get it in small sizes unless your local shops already have some spare sheets lying around (i tried to get orange acrylic but had to buy a huge sheet of a few foot x foot only when i only need a few inch x inch, and that had a cost of a few hundreds dollars), their are cheaper kinds of plastic that can be used for this purpose, (ask a local plastic shop) like the one`s used for the hockey rings ( i forget the name of the plastic), i would recommend that specially if you are painting it as the point to pick acrylic is for it`s natural looks. soft metal sheets could be a good options like aluminum they can be painted and are easier to work with (cut, bend etc..) to make then fit in your case. Hope that help you, have a nice day
