I'm sure nobody saw the winner coming, but congratz to den anyway.
I need to knuckle down and do better next time, I'm pretty sure I was only folding for half of this event q_q. (If I only had a brain)

I'm very grateful to have made it into the top 10! I gunned for it pretty hard on the last big folding event and barely missed, so it's nice to have made it in for this smaller one. I'm unfortunately going to have to scale back my folding efforts pretty heavily by the time the next major event rolls around due to upcoming circumstance changes (hence the jank box during this event), so this is a nice little capstone to my current setup.

A big thank you to the organizers again for putting these together (especially @cbigfoot this time around, and @GOTSpectrum for carrying on despite a literal hospital visit!). You guys are awesome and I'm glad to be able to participate in the events you run. Looking forward to the next one!

Missed out on the first day as to be truthful I was busy and completely forgot!  Tried to fold as much as possible the next 4 though and managed to fold for around 13 hours on Friday. Realistically the highest I could’ve placed was around 55 or so even if I folded 24/7. Congrats to all the winners!

i made 15th by the skin of my teeth thanks scotty... already sold my MSI 2060 to a friend...didn't get what i could have gotten out of it but 500 is still good for a card i paid 300 for lol

I've decided due to the end date confusion to extend the prize claiming period to the 29th to make sure everyone has a chance to claim their prize.

Ah, that makes sense. So you're saying mine should be fine; I've got a 3600 (65W TDP) with a probably-overkill AIO on it. (If I were just gaming I probably would have stuck with the stock cooler, but I could only fold 5 of 12 threads without it overheating....)

I think we should also give a shout out to @Den-Fifor somehow getting his hands on A LITERALL DGX A100 FOR A DAY TO FOLD ON! DUDE!

If you have a 105W processor in it I Don’t recommend running CPU folding or BOINC on it 24x7.
 
The upside is I replaced it with an Aorus x570 Master for ... ummm ... a VRM upgrade. 5900x likely to follow to replace the 2700x

My laptop doesn't even do folding on the iGPU as far as I can tell, and it is like that on the CPU. I just recently built a desktop that makes a huge difference in my folding performance. Just hang in there and keep on folding!

Want to shout out to the top guys for a few different reasons, each of them important and truly awesome.
 
Can we all give Den-fi a huge F'n round of applause, I mean the dude folds on hardware.  I dont know if he has to pay all of the electric himself, but man just owning, building, maintaining that hardware yourself is an awesome contribution (read: addiction) and I really honestly cant fathom having that much PC hardware and finding a place for it, electric, maintenance, etc.  To do this without mercenaries is truly insane.  It really merits the highest of recognition.
 
All that said.  To those of you who use mercenaries.  Good on you folks.  I cheered on @Macaw2000 when he won the Covid month, and continue to appreciate those contributions.  Does he use mercenaries?  Yes he does.  Do the resources he uses and farms out contribute in a MASSIVE way to protein folding for good medical purposes.  Hell yes.  The people on here that farm it out, while they may get occasional sh*t in good humor, have contributed a ton of resources in some way, shape, or form and are hugely appreciated.  And they have contributed a lot more than myself and so many others.
