  1. OK so I opened it up and I put my 2 noctua fans on cpu1. I then tried the hub in cpu2 and can't control it at all. Why won't my hub let me control it with PWM am I doing something wrong? I know cpu2 is PWM so that's not the issue. The hub's little tag on the plug says PWM lol do you think it just doesn't work or what?
  2. But it's in cpu1 now so it should be controllable! The thing is it just controls the 2 cpu fans that are plugged into the hub, not the 6 case fans.
  3. I bought myself a nice inwin 303c for Christmas and populated it with a set of these cheap uphere fans. They suit my purpose well and I like the effect but the fans seem to be running at like 50% constantly. The fans came with a hub and I have all of the fans and my 2 noctua cpu cooler fans plugged into it in the 7th spot where (I think) they are supposed to be. The 2 cooler fans are plugged into the noctua splitter and I'm not using the low noise adapter. I have the hub plugged into my cpu header on the board. I have one other case fan plugged into sys1 that's blowing out the back as well. So when I go to control the fans I am able to set a curve but the only fans that seem to respond are my cooler fans and the rear fan. The other six just buzz along at whatever speed they're chilling at. Doesn't matter what I do I've gone into the bios and I've used speed fan in both PWM mode and voltage mode but the only fans that ever respond are the cooler and the rear. What can I do to get the other 6 to respond, what am I doing wrong? Is it just because I got cheap chinese fans? Do I need to just unplug my noctua from the hub and put them in cpu1 and then put the hub in cpu 2 or should I just put it on a system header and leave the cooler out of it. I thought I had it in the right config the first time but I've never done this before. MSI Z170A SLI is my board fwiw. Also, does anyone know if I can buy a controller for the rgb that I can plug the 3pin rgb header into? I don't have a header on this mb. Also, does anyone know how I can power my front panel without the aforementioned header for rgb? I just want the things led's lit up I mean, isn't there some way I can get power to it? It's this funny little flat plug that takes 4 pins and they're labelled 12v,r,g,b. I was thinking that maybe hopefully there would be a 12v pin on my mb somewhere that I could just plug it into but I'm not dumb enough to try without a little more uh guidance. If you can help with any of these questions I'd really appreciate it! Sorry if this post is in the wrong place or inappropriate, I just pasted my reddit post here since nobody was responding there. Here are the two links I had embedded on reddit. https://imgur.com/a/QCh7gYK https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HK7YRCD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
