  1. What I want to use my future pc for is to play Metro Exodus on a 1080p 60hz monitor at Ultra resolution and at 60fps. So, I want to maximize the performance of my Intel i5 9600 as much as possible. Now, I've heard a lot about cpu boost clock and have watched some videos about it. I'm wondering if my cpu will always use its boost clock speed if I use a good cpu cooler like the Noctua NH-U12 A or the be quiet Dark Rock 4 since the cpu will use its boost clock during a task if it's at a cool enough temperature. Is this true or not? Also, I don't know much about how to overclock a cpu, so I don't want to overclock mine. If anyone has any suggestions for a cpu cooler that will meet my needs, let me know.
  2. I'm thinking about a new pc that can handle heavy multitasking which for me is just having 100-200 tabs open and being able to play roblox on max graphics settings. I'm also thinking about a new monitor because my 10 year old monitor is having always having severe flickering of some sort and when I went to Canada Computers, one of the guys there told me that it couldn't get fixed. My pc that I'm currently using has an Intel 6100, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, no dedicated graphics and a 1TB 7200 rpm hard drive. I know what motherboard, ram and hard drive I'll be using but I'm not sure about the cpu and gpu. Some things that I definitely want is an AMD gpu and AMD cpu because I don't just only game, 50% of the time I'm working on projects and I've realized that AMD gives good value for its gpus and right now can be considered equal to NVIDIA if you think about 1080p gaming. It's just that I'm thinking about getting a 240hz Freesync monitor, but because it's 240 hz, instead of just getting a Ryzen 5 3600 and a AMD RX 550 I'm pretty sure I should get something else. Does anyone have any recommendations?
