  1. It's normal it always made the sound you just didn't hear it when it was inside of that laptop.
  2. I use yt-dlp but it's too much of a hassle when downloading just a 3 minute song. The stupid site allows me to paste the link then download. Even if I manually rename it every time (probably what I should have done), it is faster. PowerToys will be useful for the hundreds of files already downloaded, thanks. Getting it now.
  3. I unfortunately got too used to using a stupid site to download music from YT. But when I do, this shitty site adds its name in front of every file I download through it. Lets say I downloaded Song A, the downloaded file is named as "stupidsite.com - Song A.mp3" I download song B, the filename is "stupidsite.com - Song B.mp3" I want to remove "stupidsite.com" from all of the filenames. Is there a way to do this easily?
  4. I already checked archive org, chrome cache didn't work and I knew since site isn't very popular one. That's why I am trying to see if I can "rebuild" that page with the stuff it left on my pc.
  5. I visited a webpage a few days ago. But now the whole domain is down. Can I find a specific page the temp files of my browser?
  6. Lower the graphics a bit especially shadows and limit the FPS to 60 and see if it crashes again.
  7. Is that how it is with AMD now? Few years back when Ryzen CPU said it hits say 4.2, it did hit 4.2 frequently. "MAX BOOST 6.7 GHZ!!" (Not guaranteed. May occasionally hit once a year if stars align)
  8. So if anyone wants to get rid of the WORST chrome update ever in terms of performance, visuals, and messing up your muscle memory for absolutely no reason etc. Go to chrome flags link as seen at the bottom, search the same text you see, and disable ALL of the results.
  9. Chrome did and update and it looks like absolute crap. These morons really are trying to make everyone migrate to other browsers. Now I have washed up colors and a useless dropdown menu on the left of the tabs. How do I downgrade?
  10. Idle temps can be misleading. Actively check the temps when the game is running.
  11. Try pressing the power button several times or try to boot with screwdriver
  12. Maybe I try it again after I get a recent backup of the full system. The slightest possibility of having to reinstall Windows and losing all my configurations is enough to scrap the idea.
  13. Luckily it still booted when I re-enabled CSM and I realized that it wasn't worth the risk. I'll just keep it as is.
  14. You need to state a quantative issue. There is no answer to the vague question of "I don't like the amount of FPS or the graphics quality I have. Is there a problem?"
  15. Looked it up and that PSU should work with any outlet. So this isn't the case of putting it in the wrong hole.
  16. He said he moved from America to Europe. AFAIK EU is the one with 220-240 volts, while the U.S is 110 something. Besides, most PSU's will work on either outlet.
  17. I am out of ideas other than individually eliminating parts one by one. Start a new topic with the new information. Maybe others can help.
  18. Decent termal paste should be fine for at least for 4 years. Some last up to 8 years.
  19. Possibly because you are unfocussing the game and essentially moving it to "background work". Try left alt + enter while in the game to see if that fixes it. Or you can run the game on fullscreen windowed.
  20. Bad ram might have damaged your OS or drivers, and you would never know how many or which files got corrupted. The easiest solution is to run the system on a new disk with fresh OS. If there are no problems, move your stuff to the new OS. If there are, then it is a hardware issue.
  21. Those are some CRAZY prices for an nvme ssd. Unless you're 4k video editing all the time, it's just waste of money. I looked it up and you probably have an extra zero on those prices lol
  22. To be safe and not burn your components yes. It has to be in the box. It may have "VGA" mark on it and one end is daisy chain. Otherwise contact the seller.
  23. Radeon software will default the settings after a power outage, crash etc, supposedly to "save you" from a bad overclock on GPU which it presumes is causing the crash. The problem is bad GPU OC unless extremely bad, won't cause a crash until you stress it a bit, so it's completely useless in most cases. The issue is everytime there is a force reset, force shutdown, power outage, crash etc, and you forget to reload your profile, the card just burns up to 100 degrees with bad factory fan curves and voltages. Is there a way to prevent this profile resetting? Is afterburner the only way?
  24. Yes and you just install them. It's not like the PC won't work at all without them. Most drivers will be installed by W10 automatically anyway.
