  1. My favorite thing about the Z2 is the battery life. It's not horrible on my Moto X, but it could be a lot better. My favorite thing about the dbrand skin is that it includes a screen protector.
  2. My favorite thing is the thinness. It's no ultrabook, but it's pretty thin for a gaming laptop.
  3. My favorite thing is the 1440p screen, of course!
  4. That's Corsair's website, haha. If I made RAM I would say it helped in games too. Here's some independent analysis on RAM speed and Battlefield 4: http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2013/11/27/battlefield-4-performance-analysis/9 Also, here is Anandtech's analysis of the issue: http://www.anandtech.com/show/4503/sandy-bridge-memory-scaling-choosing-the-best-ddr3/6
  5. You should note that this is an old video made using Windows 7. Windows 8 added new features such as Fast Startup and removing the hibernation file will prevent those features from working.
  6. This is not true at all. A higher clock on your RAM might get you an extra frame, if that. You don't need above 1600 MHz unless you're using an APU or you can find a good deal on some higher clocked RAM. Also, you linked a RAM with a CAS latency of 10, his is bet with a latency of 9 and also much cheaper.
  7. If it's your first build it certainly won't hurt anything, but they really aren't necessary. They can restrict your movement and get in the way when you're doing the more intricate connections while you're working inside your case. As long as you touch your case occasionally you'll be fine. Parts are much more static-resistant than they used to be, anyway.
  8. I would drop the liquid cooler. You have a locked processor on there right now so you won't be able to overclock, and if you just want silence I would just get a good air cooler instead and save quite a bit of money.
  9. Nope, you don't need an anti-static band unless you're going to be building your rig while rubbing your socks all over the carpet. The stock cpu cooler is will keep your cpu nice and cool at stocks speeds, but if you want a more quiet PC or plan to overclock you should look into purchasing a better one.
