  2. until

  3. Nah, The fans were 200$, But the water cooling stuff, and all the extra stuff I put in probably costed like less than half of the build

  5. What's your monitor resolution and refresh rate? And what kind of games will you be playing?
  6. well atleast try it on the gpu temporarily so we know what the cause of the issue is
  7. Try an HDMI cable straight from your gpu to TV, you can prob find one for 10 bucks or less from a local store, or maybe Walmart
  8. sapphire card 24$ over budget, I'll get it, and for the case, Idk I guess I just like big cases
  9. Did you try different HDMI cables, maybe something's wrong with your cable, that's why
  10. Yea, I chose it cuz It's huge and It'll be so easy to cable manage.
  11. He's getting a 144hz monitor soon, so it's fine , although should I get the XFX or MSI?
  12. His friend is selling him his old 144hz monitor so it's fine
  13. Forgot to mention that, It's a 1080p 60 hz monitor
  14. Hey guys, So my brother asked me to get him a new PC, since he's using a Macbook and he knows I'm better than him with PC stuff, He'll mainly be using it for gaming and SOME college work, His budget is 1500$ CAD, and he has a 1080p 60hz monitor, Here's the build I made for him, Any suggestions on what I should change? (Btw He loves RGB) PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor $244.99 @ Newegg Canada Motherboard MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard $179.99 @ Amazon Canada Memory Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory $99.99 @ Newegg Canada Storage Western Digital Blue 1 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive $129.99 @ Newegg Canada Video Card MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB EVOKE OC Video Card $519.99 @ Newegg Canada Case Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic ATX Full Tower Case $169.99 @ Canada Computers Power Supply Corsair CX (2017) 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $54.99 @ Memory Express Case Fan Apevia 312L-CBL 57.67 CFM 120 mm Fans $30.60 @ Amazon Canada Case Fan Cooler Master MF120R ARGB 3in1 59 CFM 120 mm Fans $63.24 @ Mike's Computer Shop Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $1513.77 Mail-in rebates -$20.00 Total $1493.77 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-01-01 16:21 EST-0500
  15. Make a new thread for this but anyways, I'd reccomend Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING, it's 139 CAD$ from memory express, Also If you can get a GTX 1660, maybe a MSI OC Edition, I think there are some sales for it maybe 199$ USD, 269$ CAD also from memory express, if you're getting the motherboard from memory express or gpu, get the cpu from memory express too, so you don't buy from 2 sites, it's the same price
  16. Lower the fan speed in MSI Afterburner. Then play a game or run a benchmark with temps on if temperature get's too high then increase the fan speed a bit, and repeat, if not then you're good.
  17. Also change the title, Make it something like "Free GTX 1060" since people might think of it as "haha y'all kids using a APU, kids" and not click on it.
  18. Pretty sure they don't IP-Ban for simple trolls.
  19. Chances are you won't find any kids on LTT, if you don't find someone, I'd recommend selling it for cheap to your customers, There are a lot of kids that shop for parts with their parents. Or you can give it to them for free, and You won't need to deal with shipping, etc.
  20. I mean, I don't even have a PC, I am planning on building one in Febuary, and I'm getting the 1660 ti, and I'd rather get a 1060 for free than pay for a 1660 ti, I'm in canada if you decide to give it to me, although if someone needs it, it's fine, cuz I was planning on paying for one anyways. BTW: I'm not a kid
