  1. I am planning to upgrade my Ryzen 3 2200G --> 2600 or 3600. I currently have a Arctic Alpine 64 Plus. Which is better, stock or 64 Plus? Thanks
  2. Okay. But I've heard that you should try to avoid the Beta version.
  3. Hi there. I'm looking to upgrade my Ryzen 2200G --> Ryzen 5 3600. I'm currently using the MSI B350M Mortar as my motherboard. MSI's website says it's compatible with Zen 2, but there has been no BIOS update since? I'm a little confused on this one. Can anyone clarify this for me?
  4. No software. And hardware monitor won't show my fan speeds. Edit: I recently changed something in the BIOS (MSI game mode or something), and I had to re-enable AMD cool n' quiet when I came out of it. So, perhaps there's a way to default all of the BIOS settings?
  5. After I wake up my PC, my CPU fan goes 100%. Any ideas on how to fix this? Ryzen 3 2200G (not O/C'd) MSI B350M Mortar GTX 1660 Super
  6. It should be tied to your Microsoft account. Once it asks for the product key, skip that, and sign in after the installation. Your Windows licence will activate based on your account info.
  7. Did you clean install Windows 10 and DDU before installing new graphics drivers?
  8. So, I just need to download the latest driver via Geforce and I'm good to go? Edit: Also, what is the benefit of using Geforce against installing them manually from Nvidia's website?
  9. DDU removed Geforce Experience. However, once I reinstalled Geforce it automatically installs an outdated driver.
  10. I removed the old driver with DDU, then clicked a pop up from Geforce Experience and it looks like it installed an older driver? The new driver has also been downloaded and is ready to install, so I'm a little confused.
  11. My CPU has integrated Vega graphics. Should I DDU again and select AMD?
  12. I just upgraded to a PALIT GTX 1660 Super StormX. My CPU is Ryzen 3 2200G w/ 2x4GB ram @ 2400 MHz I also reinstalled Windows (not clean but through "Reset this PC") and DDU installed my graphics driver. However, I'm actually using the previous (November) driver from Nvidia's website, as the newer driver causes problems with general lagginess and slow performance in Windows
  13. Now I'm not too bothered about this, but I'm curious about why it's happening. The problem: Sometimes when I close a YouTube video, the video goes green just before the next pages loads (attached image of what it looks like). What causes this?
  14. Hi. I have a strong CPU bottleneck, and I am looking to reduce CPU intensive settings in Star Wars Battlefront II Does anyone have any knowledge of which of these settings are more CPU intensive and worth turning down?
  15. I recently upgraded to the new line of Nvidia cards (GTX 1660 Super) and I was experiencing similar problems until I DDU installed the previous (November) Nvidia driver. Edit: If you didn't reinstall your OS, you'll likely have all sorts of driver conflicts. A clean install is a good idea after such a massive upgrade.
  16. Yeah I plan to, but I have only just upgraded my GPU. So I'll try to live with it for the time being.
  17. Specs: Ryzen 3 2200G 2x4GB Memory @ 2400MHz GTX 1660 Super As you can see, I'm CPU bottlenecked. To reduce stuttering in games, I have set maximum pre-rendered frames = 1 (this is now called "low latency mode"). Should I enable V-sync with this? Should this be set to "global" or program specific? I have also increased resolution scaling in-game. Is there anything else I can do?
  18. @SavageNuke If you want to know what fixed it, rolling back to the previous Nvidia driver seems to have worked.
  19. What speed do you recommend? At least 3000 MHz?
  20. Rating? Is that the clock speed? For reference, this is my RAM.
  21. Ah, I see. Thanks. And can we say the same for GPU usage?
  22. Hi. I have been noticing some delays and lagginess when using Windows (opening programs, typing, scrolling, moving cursor etc. etc.) Looking at the screenshot below, my CPU spiked up to 100% when I opened up Chrome. So my question is, is that normal? This may help me understand the cause of the lag. Thanks in advance Edit: you can also see my GPU usage spiked as well. Specs: Ryzen 3 2200G GTX 1660 Super StormX 2x4 GB DDR4 RAM @ 2400 MHz BEQUIET BN297 500 Watt
  23. I actually got another drive for Christmas, so I’ll probably give that a try
  24. Would that be the bottleneck? Thing is, I installed my GPU at a bit of angle because the case was standing up (my PC doesn’t lay on its side unless you take out some stuff) and idk if that possibly causes damage to the connectors. I did change this and installed it properly (case laying down) but I dunno if I messed something up? I kind of doubt it, but I’m running out of ideas
