  1. You are right, it is ASUS sorry. I don't have a spare mobo, so don't this after installing the new one is okay? Should I do this before hand and find a spare mobo?
  2. Hi guys, I have a MSI X570-Plus Wifi TUF Gaming Motherboard that I am replacing due to a faulty original. Nothing else is changing with my computer and it did originally work. Will I need to do anything outside of a plug and play to install the new MOBO? Do I need to flash windows 10 via a USB? Or not worry because my NVME has OS loaded on it already. Thanks for the help.
  3. Hey guys, sorry to hijack and bump my old thread. I've been having issues with my, I think, motherboard. When doing anything on my computer, about every 3-5 minutes I would have lag spikes. Doesn't matter the application or what I am doing, my computer would what feels like throttle and causing lagging on everything and then go back to normal. I tried opening up task manager to see what the program or process was, but that would freeze to and by the time it caught up to itself, I had no idea what happened. I updated all the GPU/CPU etc etc drivers, updated windows with a new update and nothing. I finally decided to try and updated the BIOS to which I downloaded the latest from ASUS on a thumb drive, went into my BIOS and used Easyflash to install.. Well... I did that and my computer hated it. It said success, but it completely bricked my computer I think, nothing works. My RAM and GPU light up, CPU fan spins, but none of my USB's work and my power button won't do anything and I have black screens with definitely no posting. I removed the MOBO "watch" battery and that did nothing. I can't get anything to work at this point. Safe to say I need to send back the MOBO for a replacement? Could the lagging have been the MOBO or did I scapegoat my MOBO and it was something else.
  4. I've had Sling TV and I currently have Fubo TV. My experiences on both: I got Sling because I wanted the local channels, Yes Network for my Yankees as well as Red zone. I also got the package that included some crime shows and cooking for my wife. I was extremely happy with the product and reliability of Sling until they lost the rights to Yes Network, thus me not being able to watch my Yankees. With that... I searched for another.. I got Fubo because again I wanted to maintain my sports and Redzone and they also offered Yes Network. Fubo is great in regards to channel lineup and is actually cheaper. I have had some technical issues that causes the app to crash, or if I make selections to fast.. it duplicates the channel so the audio is double. When watching a show and I leave it, the show still plays in the background and the only way to stop it is by resetting my fire stick. This has happened maybe 5-6x since a year of owning Fubo. I'd recommend both, Sling if you don't need certain local channels, Fubo if you do.
  5. Is this the T34? It says MP34 and is the best cost based on your list. https://www.newegg.com/team-group-mp34-1tb/p/N82E16820331309

  7. Thank you! I got the ASUS and cancelled the MSI, luckily it hadn't shipped yet. Going to get the new SSD as well.
  8. Thanks man, I am not sure why I put the MSI in there, but I did get the Sapphire Pulse after my friends recommended the same thing. I am going to return the mobo and get one you suggested. Is this one the one you recommend for a MOBO? Will this require a CPU reflash from AMD like the 4xx series does? Can you throw me your recommended SDD as well that is 1TB? 9. Hi team, Long-time LTT watcher and forum shadow, first time poster. I built my first rig back in 2012 and decided it was finally time to upgrade. I currently run an old Intel i7 2.5ghz with a Radeon 5770 and 8gb of DDR3, no SSD. She's treated me well, but now I am looking to treat myself to something a little more modern. I put together this build after a stupid amount of hours researching and pulled the trigger last night on it all. Out the door, I got everything for $1,100 and was looking for last minute tweaks on potential items I should return, or maybe just reassurance I did ok. The price shows $1144.49, but I had found coupons and a friend lives near a micro center, so I got everything for about $1100. The PSU looks weird on this list, not sure it is a name brand we all know, but I bought this PSU last year and it is in my current build, so I can save money by re-using and it's running very well, no issues. I also have 3 TB HDD that I use in my main that I will flash and use as storage. One of the purposes of the build is to have room to expand and grow with the coming years. That is why I spent a little more on this MOBO. I already have IPS Monitors, Keyboard and Mouse.
