I think it's important to point out that Linus personally made this post and likely posted it in a state of hot headedness. I mean, how would you feel if thousands of people attacked not only your company, but your integrity as a person? Should it have been posted? Probably not, but I think it's more a crime of passion than of malice, no? Linus the person is not Linus Media Group the company, and I think the steps the company took following the drama and the steps they've already been taking months prior show that they genuinely care.

I mean, to be fair, he has maintained relationships with actual industry professionals for well over a decade by now, so he probably has learned a great deal from them. It certainly also helps that he was a product manager at NCIX in the past, so he also has some unique insight there.

Did you watch his segment on Adblock being piracy at all? He never said not to do it; he simply stated the fact that it is piracy because you are not honouring your end of the agreement by blocking the ad, but that it is up to you whether or not you are okay with it.

Linus and the team have always prided themselves on having an exceptionally low turnover rate.

The preshow is only streamed on twitch. They usually just talk about random things for like 5-10 mins before going live on YouTube

Not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but doesn't vsync synchronize the rendering of the gpu with the monitor? Maybe try turning it off, since you only have a 165 hz monitor.
