It's been some time guys but here with some good news. I've gone for dark rock 4 and pushed for 4.7 with 1.420v. Temps are reasonable with 70C° max in game and 87C° max while prime95 running the max heat test. It feels like a success. What you guys think?

Well pretty sure that you are aware that ventus cards have conservative power limiters 1660 super has 125w as max and target the card hits the limitter constantly my system is not that powerfull so cpu is the bottleneck most of the time but if I upgrade later will it make a difference to bump up the power limit with flashing "gaming x" vbios. And is it safe to do so enlighten me guys, plus I think this will make a good topic to discuss.

Well my paste is shit so a little afraid of doing it I better get some good paste first but I don't get it how is it possible even with the crap coolers to get such clock speeds. Aren't these things suppose to run hot ? I mean they are old

Hi, first I need to say that yes I still use this cpu and probably use it as long as I could so don't tell me to change it thanks :) Alright guys I am considering be quite! Dark Rock Pro but its hard to find in my country so will the non pro Dark Rock 4 do the job. I plan to go 4.5 on my i7 2600k with the possiblity of 4.7 any one have any ideas what temps I could get. Also any air cooler suggestions to reach those clock speeds is appreciated. Thanks
