Just wondering if placing my GPU in the second slot of my mother board will lower its performance because the stupid USB C cable is getting in the way of it, my motherboard is a X570nGigabyte Aorus Master

Looking for a 1440p 27 inch monitor preferably 144hz + was looking at the lg g1850 but the low contrast kinda turned me off wondering if anyone has any experience with the MSI MPG27CQ2 or MAG272CQR or any other suggestions for purchase money is no issue
