  1. I'm going to imagine this is an easy "YES" but with 2 - SAS ports, can you use a 12T SAS drive Port 1 and breakout cable with the other Port 2, using them at the same time? Thinking outloud...Thank you in advance...
  2. Thank you 2FA... I was told that I needed to run UNRAID. Is this the breakout cable your talking about (https://www.amazon.com/LiNKFOR-Breakout-SFF-8087-Multi-Lane-Internal/dp/B0728KRZYB/ref=sr_1_30?dchild=1&keywords=SAS+breakout+cable+black&qid=1599416748&sr=8-30)? So I'll be able to use SSD and spinners together on these breakout cables?
  3. I have a x570 Aorus Extreme with a AMD Ryzen 9 3950X and have filled the 9 hard drives (SSD,6T/8T spinners) to capacity. I want to add a few more drives to act independent of each other, ex (H: Movies, I:Photos, J:Work). Using a LSI LSI00301 (9207-8i) PCI-Express 3.0 x8 Low Profile SATA / SAS Host Controller Card, will this work without having to use UNRAID or other software?
  4. M.2 - 2T drive I'm exporting to a M.2 - 2T stick/drive with nothing else running...
  5. I just built a "new" PC - - - AMD Ryzen 9 3950X, Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT, 1200G memory, and Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme AM4 Motherboard. I have HitFilm Pro 14 and have the memory settings at 100,000 to render the MP4. Is it (usual / unusual) to take a 01:34:24:19 over 20 hours to export? Settings for MP4 - 1080 x 1920 x 60 fps... Is there any other thoughts, comments, tips on speeding up this process. Thank you in advance...time is money!

  7. I'm currently building an AMD Ryzen 9 3950X computer with wanting to buy the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card. It says it will support up to 6 monitors, but only has 4 ports on the card, is there a cable adaptor or ?
  8. I'm thinking of taking my entire system to water cooling. I have dual AMD FirePro W7000's and does anyone make a water block for them?
  9. What is the best motherboard to carry the AMD 3950X? I've put the $20 deposit for the ProSiphon Elite - IceGiant cooler or would you use water coling?
  10. Thank you for both of your inputs. Time is money at this point, putting together powerpoints with video, podcasting, and the sign shop are my biggest time crunches. The only reason I chose Corel, I trained in Corel for years.
  11. $3000.00 is the top of my budget for now. I just don't want to be upgrading again in another 2 years like I do now.
  12. I'm looking for suggestions for a final computer Holiday build. I'm tired of patching & upgrading work computers to get by. Watching Linus YouTube video's I'm envious of wanting to build an AMD Ryzen 9 3950X, but need help in picking a case, max. memory, mother board, video card and drives for mass storage. My old system that has been upgraded and limped along: HP OptiPlex 780 Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00 GHz 16 Gig Ram maximum 64 Bit Windows 10 AMD FirePro V7900 - running 4 HP Elite Displays E232 Monitors My needs have changed from database information of excel, word, Corel 9, Adobe Suit. Current needs & new purchased software: 1. I have a graphic shop and 52" Ioline vinyl plotter (Corel 18, ACDsee full version) 2. Ohio State Beekeepers Association, traveling speaker for pollinators, and wanting to put together educational video's & podcasts (Hit Film Pro 13, Sound Forge Pro 13) 3. Fun stuff: (Real Flight G3.5 & Doom External) 4. Office work (Microsoft office, PowerPoint, word, excel) I do want to keep my 4 stack monitor system, but need help with the new build. As you can see my current computer is choking to death when running multiple applications (don't laugh). After watching Linus & the team, with builds and custom gear, I'm looking forward to not waiting for the computer to catch up (round and round) and finally getting something done quicker. Amazon links or full list to buy the new toys will greatly be appreciated. Thank you for your time in advance... Fight for the Pollinators, Jamie Walters
