  1. Yes, only this specific game, i'll give it a go, but either way at least i have a way of making it function properly, thanks for the advice
  2. GOOD NEWS! rolling back to the 441.12 GR Driver worked, the game seems to stutter a little, but its working, im not 100% that it was becasue of this or because the game literally just released a 800MB patch, but it seems to be working and im grateful for that, i think it was because i used DDU compared to not using it when i rolled it back last time, kay, so only one more question, i had better in-game performance with the newer drivers, do you think i will be able to update the drivers at a later date? or am i stuck to these ones now? @Juular
  3. You mean display drivers as in Nvidia drivers yeah? i've tried downgrading from 441.66 before with no luck, i can try downgrading to something that might be more stable, and give you the result. Would downgrading to 441.12 Game Ready be a good idea?
  4. Sure thing: @Juular Specs: OS: Windows 10 Home Ver 1909 (build 18363.565) CPU: Intel I7 7700 SSD: ADATA SP900 256GB HDD: Seagate Firecuda 2TB HDD2: Seagate Barrucuda 1TB RAM: Hyperx Fury Black DDR4 2133MHz 2x8GB Motherboard: MSI Z270 Gaming M5 GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 ARMOR 8G OC PSU: Corsair CS850M It's also worth mentioning i can run other games from launchers like Steam and Epic Launcher perfectly fine, its only this one it seems to happen on.
  5. Okay, i have no idea how to begin explaining this but here goes, If i am running games that have been installed through the Microsoft Store (in this case Gears 5) , in a Dual Monitor setup, the entire PC will eventually hang and then fully freeze, and it will hang faster the more i click onto the second monitor, especially with videos and such running on the second monitor. Monitor 1 (default): 1080p @240Hz, Acer, all latest drivers Monitor 2: 1440P @120Hz, Aoc, all latest drivers OS: Windows 10 Home Ver 1909 (build 18363.565) CPU: Intel I7 7700 SSD: ADATA SP900 256GB HDD: Seagate Firecuda 2TB HDD2: Seagate Barrucuda 1TB RAM: Hyperx Fury Black DDR4 2133MHz 2x8GB Motherboard: MSI Z270 Gaming M5 GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 ARMOR 8G OC PSU: Corsair CS850M Only adjustments to Windows settings on Desktops is Small Icons, Hidden Search Bar, Task View, and Cortana So anyways i have done some testing, and as it turns out, the game will run perfectly fine if i have only the Main monitor active, and unplug the second one, however if they are both on and doing stuff, the system hangs, i wont be able to click on the taskbar, i wont be able to open task manager, the system will ignore all right clicks, and the only thing i seem to be able to do is close down the active/focused windows. As a result of this the thing i normally have to do is hold down the power button, and try again, only to normally be met with an 0xc000000e Error, stating Winload.exe is missing or corrupt. Although that said, flushing the CMOS seems to do the trick for this, if it doesn't, bootrec /fixmbr, fixboot, and rebuildbcd never seem to work, so i normally have to format the SSD, and reinstall Windows 10. Fixes tried: i have tried the WSRESET command in CMD, i have tried SFC /Scannow, have tried reinstalling the OS, and have tried rolling back Graphics drivers, turning off hardware acceleration where i can, Disabling Game Bar and Geforce Experience Overlay, reinstalling the game multiple times (on reboot it thinks the game doesnt exist fairly often). This issue didn't exist for me until around 12th December, I dont particularly remember anything eventful happening then, could've potentially been some form of windows update or background update, but as i reinstalled my Windows from Media Creation Tool I'm now on the latest version. Anyways, I cant seem to get to the bottom of this, and have no idea on how to combat the issue, would love a response from you guys about how to go about tackling this one since it's new to me, i will try to answer any queries best i can Thanks guys in advance if you do decide to give it a go! Single monitor working: Upon Crash and restart: On Attempted Reinstall after using Media Creation Tool for CHKDSK, BootRec and SFC prior:
