  1. Hi all, Currently I'm running a Ryzen 5 2600 with a RX 570 MSI ARMOR 8GB OC, and a friend of mine is getting rid of his Asus Strix 2060 OC because of the new Nvidia cards and wants to sell his to me for €200,-. I currently play on a 1080p 144Hz monitor and have no plans to upgrade to 1440p 144Hz. I don't mind setting my graphic settings to low/med but the RX 570 isn't giving me the most stable framerate during intense fights in Apex Legends or raids in WoW. Would the upgrade to the 2060 (non super btw) be worth the price?
  2. I have a hard time believing they are lying on their own site, however you seem like a godfather in PSU's and want to believe you as well haha. Let's state it this way. If the MWE is actually DC-DC regulated, would it be safe and sufficient enough to power the RX 5700 at stock speeds? Not talking about the reference model but a cooler, more quieter one.
  3. Thanks for the detailed explanation, however when I look up specific model at Cooler Masters website: https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/power-supplies/mwe-series/mwe-bronze-450/ it actually tells me it's a DC-DC circuit design. What's the difference between the one at the website, and the one you explained about in your detailed post?
  4. Thanks for the replies guys, Just for my information. What would actually happen if the PSU isn't enough for the card. Would the system just, not boot, or would it damage the system? In the case it wouldn't be sufficient I could always purchase a new PSU afterwards.
  5. Goodmorning guys, I'm not completely sure where to put my question so if the topic is in the wrong section my apologies. Since the release of the RX 5700 I've been interested in purchasing one. Currently running a RX 570 MSI 8GB and my current PSU is a Cooler Master MWE 450W Bronze. If I calculate the wattage with pcpartpicker it does say the PSU would be enough and I wouldn't run into problems however I wanted to ask you guys as a second opinion. What are your thoughts on this combination? Do I need to upgrade my PSU? Kind regards, Total PC specs: - Asrock B450M Pro4 - Ryzen 5 2600 - G.Skill Aegis 2x8GB - RX 570 8GB - Cooler Master MWE 450w Bronze - 2x Sata SSD
