VinceLoh89 got a reaction from GoodBytes in Alienware in Windows 10 Event
To be honest, many only read the bad reviews & often forgotten about those who have great experiences with them. Usually the ones who are pessimist on Dell is either they received a faulty component from the start & those who didn't manage to own it or even try it themselves complain about something they didn't experience before. IRONIC.
In my experience (speaking as an investor), if they didn't manage to fix your problem, don't just send them emails, just give them a call & have all your issues address & your case will be done in no time. Company as huge as Dell clearly have too much issues to handle at that scale, so nothing beats the few minutes call compared to email to email replies.

VinceLoh89 reacted to LAwLz in Reports disclose Apple watch processor and battery life
Yeah the Pebble seems to be the best smartwatch out there.
For me it's still not good enough though. For me to get a smart watch it would have to meet these criteria:
"Cheap" - Like 100 dollars would be good but up to 200 should be fine. Anything more and I will become very uninterested though.
Water proof - This is a must. I don't want to worry about my watch when I wash my hands, or walk in the rain, or pick up something wet.
Color screen - We've had color TVs for over 100 years now. I'd rather not go back to that time.
~7 days of battery life - That's with the time being displayed at all times. If I am going to wear a watch I want to be able to just look down on my arm and see the time, not do some gesture or press a button. As soon as I have to do that I might as well just pick up my phone.
Seems like the Apple Watch will only meet 1 out of those 4.
Oh and actually allowing me to do something special with my watch would be good too. Most of the things I see smart watches being used for can easily be done by simply pushing the top of my phone out from my pocket. All notifications and things are displayed at the top of the screen so I only need to expose about 1/4 of the screen to see everything that would be displayed on my watch.
Make it shoot lasers or detonate bombs or something. Then we'll talk.

VinceLoh89 reacted to ShadowCaptain in Which to buy Dilemma over Alienware 18 or MacBookPro 15"6
its still a bastard to carry and takes up tons of space, weight is still an issue, even for strong people
Also, you seem to be shooting down any alternative, so clearly you have made your mind up

VinceLoh89 reacted to NickTheMajin in New alienware laptop lineup- The big boys can now use the GPU dock
The Alienware is overpriced idea started when alienware was its own company and truly did have outlandish prices. Since dell took over their prices have become very reasonable and I wouldn't consider any other gaming laptop if I was in the market for one. The warranty and customer service at dell is unmatched with the accidental damage and in home tech support the rest don't offer

VinceLoh89 got a reaction from msquare in Tech/gaming hiatus a good idea?
If you're up for it, go ahead & get motivated about what you're focusing on. Keep doing it daily & you'll soon find that getting off your consoles aren't that hard. Tried it myself & I must say I do get distracted at times & I'll tell myself to FOCUS everytime I lose my track. Here's the tip before you begin your day.
Write down your TO DO LIST EVERY SINGLE DAY & PLAN WELL so you'll be productive.
I have a friend who was coached & all he did was finishing one semester that takes 4 months in A MONTH so he could focus on the things he loves to do & still work on building his business. He scored with flying colors & that totally changed his life. It really comes down to your core focus. Let me ask you this, what do you really want in life & what do you wanna achieve, work your way up from there!

VinceLoh89 got a reaction from Sauron in I'm creating my own Smartwatch, what would you love to have about your smartwatch?
Thank you for your great feedback! We are still under discussion of all the issues stated & quite frankly it will cost more than 200+ with everything packed into a tiny package.
We are currently putting that idea in the shelf till we finish evaluating & to create a physical digital based prototype.
That's something that me & my team is thinking about for our future product, as for now people aren't ready for this type of technology & the cost will be too great to bear for average users.
Just attach a mobile laser pen on your current digital watch? =D
