I'm not wanting to stick with 1366. Unless there is a cheaper way to get a i7 2600k. I'm just trying to get a decent jump for as cheap as I can. I'm working on two computers at the moment.

I want to upgrade. My cpu from a i7 920. But looking at prices. If I got a newer motherboard that could open up to more available cpu. Having trouble finding affordable lga 1366 cpu

I personally would love to see this video. I buy everything used. Just because it's a year or two old doesn't mean it can't make a good gaming computer.

I plan to get everything second hand 2/3 years old. I've been able to run everything I've thrown at my computer. The newest thing I've played is 2016 DOOM

So I get scraps from friends and family for computer parts. My rig was a server motherboard. I found a alienware Aurora r3 for $20usd and changed my hdd, ram, gpu into it. I want to upgrade the cpu lga 1366 from a i7 920. But need suggestions if I should get a newer motherboard and find a cheap matching cpu
