  1. Hello! My history with this particular card (RX 5700 XT Sapphire NITRO+) has been an... interesting one. I am assuming that my problems are driver-related, as AMD is notorious for their drivers, but something feels different about this occurrence. Before, it was a few problems dealing with some particular games, notably Minecraft. It got fixed by rolling back the drivers, then updating to see when it was fixed in a new one. A few artifacts here and there lingered but then dissipated. Now, or should I say 20 minutes ago, is quite different and resembles an entire crash. I was in Siege with Vulkan enabled when, suddenly, my screen resembled more of those stereotypical crashes than a mere artifact. I had my Spotify playing and it never cut out- it played my music like everything was normal. It seems that Siege crashed in and of itself, though, indicated that my cursor was visible. When I dragged on my desktop with my cursor, I saw a glitchy selection area, same thing with hovering over taskbar icons and its respective highlight. I was able to find where my Discord was and I was able to send messages even though my screen was digital spaghetti. I even was able to safely shut down my system, pressing the Windows key and navigating the familiar menu, albeit glitchy, with my keyboard. Throughout this process, I felt like I was using echolocation to find what I needed to click. Now, my question is: could this be a driver issue like usual, or is this a sign that my card is failing? Radeon Software Version: 20.5.1 GPU: AMD RX 5700 XT Sapphire NITRO+ 8GB CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Motherboard: ASRock B450 Gaming K4 BIOS: P3.90 RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz Below I provide an image of the problem, a GPU-Z screenshot, and a text file of a CPU-Z readout of my system. Hope this helps, and have a good one! CPU-Z Export.txt
  2. I don't know exactly how it's set up, my brother did it a while ago and I don't know too much about networking. Both of the devices are in the same room, and I think the ARRIS is being used as the modem and the ASUS is being used as a router. Should I just condense the circuit and attempt setting the network up on a single router, being the ASUS one? Or should I buy a new one? EDIT: Disabled NAPT, everything works. Wireless was already disabled which led me to believe that the router function was inherently disabled, but NAPT needed to be disabled aswell.
  3. I've been trying to do this for a while now, and I haven't found a working fix. I have two separate devices, one being an old ARRIS Surfboard SBG6580 being used for a modem, the other is a new(ish) ASUS RT-AC1200 used for WiFi and the router compatibility. Whenever I wanted to run a Minecraft server for my friends, I would have to unplug my Ethernet from the ASUS router and plug it into the ARRIS one. If I wanted to stream to a Chromecast or my printer connected to the WiFi, I'd need to do the opposite: unplug from the ARRIS and plug into the ASUS. Recently, I decided to stop doing this and find out how to get my server working while plugged into the ASUS. I ran a canyouseeme test on 25565, the port for a MC server, and it was open when my server was running. I had multiple friends test it in their games as a precaution, but they could not connect. I looked into DMZ, which is probably what I should be doing, but I am lost there. What I did was I opened my ARRIS' config and opened 25565 on my ASUS' local IP on both TCP/UDP. Then in the ASUS config, I did what I used to do on the ARRIS: opened 25565 on my local computer's IP on both TCP/UDP. Like I said, tools say that port 25565 is open for traffic on canyouseeme.org, but when friends connect, it doesn't work. Any insight? Thanks!
  4. Not too long ago, I bought myself a Sapphire RX 5700XT. When i booted up some games like GTAV and Minecraft, I noticed some slight shadow "artifacts" showing up. It was the newest software released, so I rolled back the driver until it was safe. I then started to notice that, sometimes with alt-tabbing out of siege or GTAV would result in a freeze. More likely with GTAV, but still annoying as I had to do a hard reset. Recently, siege came out with an update to support the Vulkan API. I went in-game and, even though the menus seemed choppy at best, it ran better than the regular game. I played a few games, but very rarely would it freeze in between rounds, but it would fix itself in ~5s. Now, every 20-30 seconds or so, my screen freezes with my mouse unable to move, but audio can still play. Just as it did in siege, but on my desktop and a lot more frequent. I opened task manager, and I found out that whenever a freeze happens, the "Copy" graph shows a usually big spike (5 cells apart.) Also, when the freeze subsides, I can spot a program of the Radeon application close, as if it were open during the freeze and only the freeze. I've dealt with many problems with my computer, especially recently, so I'd like to fix this too. I have a Ryzen 5 2600x, 32GB of 2133 RAM (kinda spooked to overclock), and a RX 5700XT. I can provide more information as needed, and this backstory may be a bit much, but I have no experience with a faulty part (if it is that) and I think it helps. TL;DR: Had slight "artifacts" early in my use in certain games, then recently had noticeable freezes both in-game and desktop. Wondering if it's a faulty piece of hardware, software, or both. Thank you all for your time.
  5. Heyo, me again. Figured out the problem, at least for me. If you have the G502 Lightspeed, then there's no getting around GHub. Otherwise, G502's like the Hero and SE can use LGS in this method: Open LGS and in the bottom right corner, you should see a 3D like "?". Hover over that, then you should see a " ^ " pop up. Click that, then click "Check for Updates." Even if you uninstalled and reinstalled the latest software three times (like me), there will still be an update available. After the update installs and your computer restarts, when you open LGS you should see both your keyboard and your mouse appear at the bottom. Customize it to your heart's content, have a field day. Over and out, hope I helped someone.
  6. Greetings, everyone! For a while now, I've had a G510s keyboard that was given to me from my brother. I like to use the macros on the side for various image editing shortcuts, and it has worked great. Recently, I've decided to take advantage of the $30 G502 SE deal, and I can see why people love this mouse. It's not like the old Roccat Lua mouse I had before with no additional buttons, and the scroll wheel feels premium. Reviews aside, I want to customize both pieces of hardware. For my G510s, I used the Logitech Gaming Software. It was reliable and it worked great for what I needed. When I plugged in my G502 and wanted to customize it, I had to uninstall the software I was using before to install the new LGHub. I thought it was just an updated version of the other software and my keyboard would be recognized, but sadly it wasn't. Basically, I want to be able to customize both my G510s and my G502. Lighting, macros, the quick "sniper" DPI switch button, the whole nine yards. And I have no clue how to do that. Maybe there's some trick to play on either software? A public program? Thanks for the help, you guys.
