  1. Good to know. After seeing this I was curious if other companies made cases with a similar layout but I might just end up going a more conventional route. Thanks for the info!
  2. Thank you for the feedback! I saw it while I was browsing and it looked interesting but I'm not 100% on how well it functions. It looks like a newer case so I haven't been able to track down much about it other than the few reviews on Amazon.
  3. Hey guys! I'm getting ready for a new build and I'm curious if anyone has used this case or has any feedback on what they think of it. I haven't seen a case like this but it looks like it would provide good cooling. The motherboard I/o and gpu are top mounted so the gpu is vertical, seemingly to create better air flow. It has good reviews I'm just not sure about the company or if this layout is more for flash than function. Some pics from the Amazon page included as well. Thanks for your feedback!
  4. No problems at all only using 4pin and that's why I'm confused. Everything works exactly as it should until I plug in the full 8 and then nothing works.
  5. Thank you! I'm suspecting the motherboard as well, I just wasn't sure if it may have something to do with the CPU not functioning properly with 8 pins. Since half of the socket on the motherboard works I figured it could be CPU related but I really have no idea.
  6. Hello! New around here and I'm hopping someone can help! So I have a new build I just put together but I have an issue I don't quite understand. Here is the list of the parts that I think could be causing the issue as all the other components register and work fine. - EVGA 650w SFX power supply - B450 I Aorus Pro WiFi motherboard - Ryzen 3 2200g The motherboard has an 8pin connection for the CPU but when I plug in the full 8 nothing boots and the psu doesn't spin. There is power going thru the board but nothing turns on. When I remove 4 of the 8 pins everything works fine and all systems are go. I'm not an expert so my knowledge as to why this is happening is limited and has me believing it's a faulty component somewhere. Are some CPUs not operational with 8pins? Are half of the 8pin connectors on the motherboard defective? Is it an issue with the power supply? Currently everything works as it should when connected with only 4 pins. The PC boots, runs benchmarks, plays games, identifies all components are functioning properly, and isn't shutting down or throttling. I have no idea what the problem would be when only adding the other 4 pins to the equation. I'm still in my return window for the components I listed and want to know if anyone thinks it's faulty hardware or a user error on my end. Thank you all for taking the time to read this and offering me your advice and feedback!
