  1. Yes, it seemed like a good amount. It was the amount that came pre applied on the AIO.
  2. I am having an issue that just suddenly popped up where my computer is starting to overheat. PC will boot up fine, work fine for a few minutes and then I start getting a deterioration in frames when doing things on the computer. I am not running anything difficult and the CPU usage is around 10% in the task manager. I have done basic troubleshooting such as: Replacing the thermal paste, cleaning any dust that was visible out of the radiator, fans or on the case, and made sure that the screws on my AIO were tight enough so that there wasn't any issues with there not being enough contact between that and the CPU. I also made sure that there wasn't any issue with the directions the fans were spinning, everything as far as airflow goes is correct and all fans are spinning. I am on Windows 10, 750W power supply, and i9-9900k, I have an AIO that is a fractal s36 Prisma. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
  3. after a couple days of messing around with it, this was the correct answer to my issue. what i ended up doing was running a mix of the different and old ram to see if i could single out one that broke everything. it was a bad stick of ram, and now i have no issues with it at all. thank you for the help!
  4. so far, troubleshooting included upgrading the power supply, and am currently in the process of testing each stick to see if i can find a faulty one.
  5. https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c04799759 here is the exact model i had. i upgraded my ram to 4 x 8gb ddr4 2133 mhz graphics card upgraded to nvidia geforce gtx1070 8gb power supply to a corsair vengeance series 750m semi modular 80+ silver 750 w
  6. so if the ram wasn't going this time. is it safe to try it with new sticks? i can't currently afford to upgrade the motherboard as well as buy new ram. i guess i'm just not as quick to say its completely on the ram. and now that this stuff hasn't worked i', a little skeptical to just go out and replace it with it causing such an issue this time around. would 2 16 sticks maybe be better as opposed to 4 x 8gb sticks? since i was running only 2 sticks before?
  7. i ordered ram of the exact same specs as my old ram, just more sticks of it. how would it not work? i'm not super knowledgeable about computer hardware so any explanation on why it wouldn't work would be great. i've made sure it's seated properly and upgraded the power supply so that there is enough to run the new card and ram. also wouldn't more things be acting up if incompatible ram was the problem?
  8. Just upgraded a few parts on my pc. graphics card, ram and power supply. these issues started once the ram went in. computer works perfectly fine until about halfway through a csgo game. it works fine through relatively easy games to run (dungeon defenders and town of salem) i have not tested it out with other games that would be hard to run. i have had two types of problems. freezing whatever is on screen at the time until i force restart, and the immediate blue screen showing up and forcing me to restart. more info on the parts can be provided if needed!
